Because it epitomized exactly the kind of unnecessarily cautious play we're saying typically doesn't occur in Korea. One exception does not make a rule.

Lol this cast is so hilarious. I'm having a good time here

Im zrg and I hate zerg games these days. tbh this shit doesn't quite fly in Korea (anymore) SH stalemates certainly do happen in Korea just not to the frequency that European pros tend to use it. Koreans don't seem as patient to wait out for an hour and prefer to finish it I notice. They are also much better at punishing mistakes. Hasu and Stephano are content to just sit, and sit, and sit, and sit... Yeah, their multitasking is better, their timings are sharper, everything is just better. Even BL/Infestor was a different character in Korea than in the west. HyuN's interview about SH and his games with Stephano on Euro ladder showed this pretty well I feel. HyuN said instead of going into a long term SH stalemate he out-macros Stephano and overwhelms him with units instead of playing into Stephano's game or goes for a Roach/Bane bust.

He would have won 0 championships in BW if he hadn't been carried by Terran, as we see with his true skill level in the much more balanced SC2.

Please please let either Incontrol or Destiny (or both) cast the next game, just to make regardless what takes place in the game enjoyable.

Hasuobs played this fairly poorly I feel. Harassment transitioning into airtoss should always beat this playstyle when you start off on equal footing on most maps. When zerg gets ahead swarmhosts can chokehold protoss into submission. When zerg gets behind swarmhosts are one of the best ways to hang in and possibly come back. When the game is equal swarmhosts don't feel optimal, and Stephano only goes for it because he wants to annoy people.

It just seems that in the situations that devolve into these scenarios Koreans manage to eke out greater advantages and better timings than EU players who are content to just hang on and do a little here, a little there.
