I check a few minutes later and Solar takes game 1? What happened? Tasteless and Wolf got overly excited by a 3base Protoss sacrificing 50zealots to kill the 5th and 6th base of a zerg. Let's be fair guys: usually when protoss gets to the 200 supply colossus/VR deathball and snipes multiple hatcheries the game is over. I think Rain was simply too passive and didn't do lethal damage to Solar's economy while letting him build up a hard counter to his composition.

really? You are going to walk across Alterzim cross Rain?

Rooting against all protosses as always. Go Solar!

Who do I listen to ? the casters or the people in LR?
generally speaking casters have a good grasp on the game, lol ty very much. all the posts in this thread would never be there had solar not played perfectly to the situation, or had Rain not made mistakes in unit composition. he lost a big fight which he shouldn't have, no? smt like that.

RIP Hatchery xD Stalkers pewpew'd it

So that's why Rain always opens up Phoenixes, because he wrecks Zergs with it.

Rain gave the Hatchery a false sense of hope. Rest in peace

You're not the only one, dude. Times like that I think, this is why you all-in the alien scum. Sigh. HerO vs Leenock on Antiga Shipyard, never forget. I do believe Rain made errors, nothing undeserved about Solar's win but I prefer the player who is more aggressive and positive to get rewarded as a vague rule of thumb.
Yeah, I agree. But, it's easy to take that thinking too far though. Sometimes doing less is doing more.
I think Rain's Zealot harass was effective but cost him too much in minerals and delayed his fourth for too long. Also, Solar mindgamed him by sticking with the Ultra rather than anticipated Mutas. I think Solar just has Rain's number.

After the Zealot harassment, Solar was left on 4 bases with ~80 Drones, and Rain was still on 3 bases only... Casters were saying how he is way ahead, and he clearly wasn't...
