There is very few chance we have a terran in ro4 except if Maru goes wild and try to 2 rax to death Soulkey. He'll just 10 drone scout to avoid that.

Against Zest and SK, Maru probably would have suffered the same fate. To be honest, it really doesn't matter. Zest and Soulkey are good enough that it's very unlikely that you're going to win a GSL without going through either of them. Whether it's in the Ro16 or the finals it doesn't matter. The only way Maru or Innovation are winning a GSL is if they can beat those guys. Maru is good enough to beat anyone in the Ro8 even in the current meta. I really wish I could say the same for Innovation but I can't.
Maru's group was pretty noob compared to Innovation's.

It is getting to the point when it is better just not to watch SC and only check results rather than be disappointed again. Its almost a year now.

Any way to show overall winrates via aligulac, depending on race?

Not taking anything away from Soulkey here but it´s really really really difficult for any terran player to win games these days. The required skill is just way too high ... Split/Spread/Kite like a god to avoid Blings and even if you did well, you´re loosing your army to Sling/Mutas. Like my games on ladder, no matter how well I play sooner or later I get overrun. :-(
Anyways; hoping for maru to take it all. Although I believe that he has... 0 chance.

I'm not saying Innovation is worse than Maru because he lost to Soulkey, I'm far more concerned about the fact that Innovation looked to get thoroughly man handled by Zest.

There is always somebody predicting drastic results, and a lot of time they look like idiots afterwards. Wait and watch, Maru is undeniably good and has a very different playstyle from Innovation, who knows what's going to happen. Remember Mvp vs Rain, or whichever other example of surprising wins from the thousands that exists.

of course we know that inno > SK (except for that final meltdown) when the game was balanced last year, based on overall record - but then they decided to nerf innovation.

It wasn't that the game was balanced, the meta just suited a different play style, which innovation was better at

Current meta doesn't suite any terran. Maru looked lost against Dark until he brought out his cheese.

Well the balance changes is why the "meta" is different.

That's why SoulKey won a GSL and INnoVation didn't. Gotcha.
And l0l. Quote "Game is balanced" is dead forever in esports.
