Learning with Panda time;
Playing a BO1 in Pro League is not a good ranking system for Terrans. Take TY as prime example. Has one of the best Terran records in Pro League, put him in DH and GSL he is pretty darn average.
Maru is just solid all around, he can win BO1s and he can lose BO1s. He however is very strong in BO3s though.
BO1 can be luck based and build order wins, you rarely double build order win in a BO3.

Similar or not, but they kinda have to win important bo3s finally.
Flash is failing for quite a while, TY crashes from Dreamhack in first really important bo3, and Fantasy can't beat Leenock who will be 0-4'd in group in 2 weeks.
+ There is Bbyong but you never know what to expect from him. He's like Creator for Terrans.

PL has a way of screwing with people´s heads, because of the regular exposure its top-players get. Remember the SC2 power ranks and how heavily they favored PL results? It´s normal, I think.
