The most ironic part of all of this is that Stephano is perfect for LSC because he brings in more viewers no matter what he does. People talk about the game, and the tournament.
But I think that "you can't blame the players for using every resource they have at their disposal" is idealistic. If every game was like this nobody would watch Starcraft and everyone would be blaming the players for purposefully playing boring, uninteresting games when the potential exists for more exciting games to be played. eSports doesn't exist without people who intrinsically want to watch these games, and yes, the player has an unspoken responsibility to play entertaining games. You see that sentiment in Korean SC2 interviews all the time, "i hope to show my fans entertaining games."
Stephano is a Starcraft savant. He absolutely knew that he had AT LEAST a 10 minute window to move across the map and win the game. He purposely didn't do that.

Increase in viewer count reminds me of when we used to find BL-infestor cool. I still remember Dimaga vs JYP at HSC where Dimaga just camped with spines, infestors, and BLs at Dual Sight. Of course, when every zerg did it against protoss, it got old fast.
Hopefully this doesn't turn into most ZvZs.
