On one of the older maps, Stardust's defence while not great may have sufficed. I agree with -_- in that the new set of maps ease zerg aggression, and weaken protoss all-ins, especially the blink based ones, against terran, which was what Blizzard needed to do. | ||

No I just don't think Jaeong's TvZ is that good and Inno crushed him in ATC. Jaedong's ZvZ on the other hand should be on par with Life's. | ||

As far as I know, Blizzard's plan was to make maps less blink favored, so basically to help terrans. As it turned out they actually did the most for zerg with the new map pool. That is one of the reasons I am against balancing SC2 with maps. Protoss has too many unique mechanics that are really hard to balance just with maps. | ||
