you are born as a 1year old and then you get +1 at New year (that would need to be confirmed, it was explained to me multiple times but it s still confusing ^^)

In Korea you are born 1 year old and gain one year every time lunar new year passes. So If you are born one day before lunar new year, you are 2 years old on your second day in this world.
