I think he's talking about Korea. We have a decent amount of fresh foreign terrans.

Tbh, most people in europe seems to suck so hard vs SHs. The roles are reversed in a SH situation, the protoss is the one who should have map control, deny creep etc and move in to kill a base if the zerg tries to move out his SHs too far to secure new grounds. Protoss should always be ahead in bases etc, and most protoss players just seem to get their usual 3/4base collosus templar void ray army and try to attack, realise it doesn't work, try it again, realise it doesn't work, then try it again and lose.

Nightend did a good job of circumventing the SHs to snipe buildings yesterday tho.

No, 15 is the max possible, only 2 groups have played right now. If Trap wins this next game, Protoss will be 4 for 4.

However, all the Protoss players that have advanced so far are REALLY good and have been for a while. Next week is going to be a different story.

Kinda surprised that during the BL/Infestor era of WoL there weren't as many base races. Seems to be the best way to deal with that crazy good comp

there can't be 16 protoss in ro16 because Group C has 3 and only 2 can advance. So max in ro16 is 15 protoss

Maps these days are generally bigger and more open. Maps like Daybreak really contributed to the BL/Infestor nonsense

It used to be accompanied by a lot of static defence to compensate for the slowness of the army.
