Yeah I'm not arguing that, but it's so obnoxious when people complain about WCS not doing what it's "supposed to", when it's actually doing exactly what it was supposed to - creating a super tournament at the end of the season where the best players, regardless of nationality, will compete for the top spot. | ||

People are realizing how much of a gap there is between Korea and the rest of the world. Before we always had outlier foreigners who would give us the illusion that the gap wasn't that big. Jinro, Idra, Huk, Thorzain, Nerchio, and Stephano. But after Stephano's retirement, who is there now? Naniwa is too inconsistent. Scarlett has injury problems. At least during 2012, it seemed like foreigners weren't doing that bad because Stephano was looking so sharp. | ||

By that logic, you would have three Germany, three Spain, two Brazil, two French, two Italian, two English teams at the Soccer World championship. The Olympics would have only jamaicans and a few Americans and russians sprinkled in for the 100m dashes. You would have only chinese and Germans at the table tennis world championships. Having region locked Qualifiers is something EVERY EVERY Sport does. Granted, most of the time one region is not AS dominant like the Koreans in SC, but you could give them some more spots, and a higher Prize pool for their regions, to compensate. | ||
