well once you are in that position the forcefields are very obvious and can really only be put where they need to be. The skill was more in the way duckdeok knew exactly what he needed to do to win and what kind of fight he needed to take.

The way Byul played that out was infuriating honestly. The engage was dreadful and he hit a horrible supply block just before the fight. duckdeok didn't win that one, Byul simply butchered that into a loss that should never have happened.

i would simply invest my time in other interests. you can't really tell me what is or isn't a drawback for me, lol What a petulant attitude. And your attitude of trying to blame people about stuff you got no business about is goddam annoying. I'm trying to explain to you why disabling adblock helps these tournaments that you're watching. You're welcome to subscribe instead. If you want to be a freeloader, be a freeloader. But don't expect to not get called on it when you start soapboxing about it. Advertisers only make money when people actually buy the products they're advertising. You're pretty much asking viewers to hurt the advertisers by having them pay tournaments for useless ad impressions. Quick, name a brand of washing detergent. Now, think of the kinds of ads that brand shows on TV. 10 bucks says they're really really really annoying and you switch the channel every time you see them. Yes, I switch the channel. And the advertisers don't fucking care that I do. If you're not buying the product, it doesn't matter whether you watch the ad or not. Whoosh. edit: you missed the point, which was that it was the first brand that came to mind. Which is exactly what the advertising is for. Sorry, that would be Kirkland, which is the brand I buy. Let's drop this, you seem constitutionally incapable of comprehending my point.
That's because your point is useless. Advertisers know that there are consumers that their ads won't reach effectively. They know there's a certain amount of people who will tune out, change the channel or otherwise block their ads. They try to measure that and incorporate those estimates when deciding which ads to buy and how much to pay for them.
All you're really advocating is for people to cheat those metrics on behalf of the content providers they follow.

Can I just say I really do think Goswser's casting is improving. Having seen him when he started for NASL, he is getting a lot more charismatic and into his casts. While in my opinion he still lacks a bit of the flair and energy that comes from a history in the field, he should be commended for his strong and resolute progression; His knowledge of the game really evident. Here's to hoping he just gets better and better! c: Thanks Goswser c:

Don't put yourself into such a terrible position in the first place then.

Lol i can't believe people think that forcefields being broken won that engagement. Byul had poor positioning and let duckdeok walk up to his 3rd without doing any pressure so his sentries had full ff energy. That's called shitty play.
Then he decides to engage anyways while his roaches do zero damage behind good forcefields.
I am a fan of byul and that was pathetic...

he mentioned on stream that a lot of casters are working for cheap or nothing at all and it's hard getting work because of that

Thanks for the reminder about ad-block, moved to my no-adblock browser #savethecheerleadersavetheworld
PvZ my least favorite to watch =[

Maybe that's not a bad thing necessarily if it rewards better army positioning prior to the battle. For example, it would be been nice if Byul had sent a flank around to the backside.
I think that was one of the reasons why Stephano had been so successful. He set up his engagements prior to the battles beautifully.

It would have been so sick if Byul 1. Got the flank off, 2. Killed his own hatchery off and got some freaking surface area in the fight.... but hindsight is a bitch.

(Unless he's turning things down) It's because it's far too easy to keep your job as a caster even if you are bad at it and there are several more qualified people available.
Casting has basically become a country club of nepotism, if I could make a clean sweep of the whole casting scene and refill with people who are actually the best candidates, I would in a heartbeat.

I have no idea if you can watch or not. Like many Korean sites the registration needs a Korean SSN. I am able to, the only issue is I don't know how I can full screen it, mute it, or pause the video. If I exit the window I have to refresh the page. It's not a big deal though, full screen would be nice though. Try double clicking on the stream. Nope... It's okay. I'll watch like this. Thanks again for the help (: Afreeca is the central location for BW and Sc2 streams in Korean. Basically Korean twitch. They have this thing where you buy points and give points to streamers. Not sure how much they get but if you give large enough donation, people thank you personally on stream.

Killing off your own hatchery would have been stupid though. It's a ton of wasted dps, and it cripples your economy, only to create a gap that can be filled with 2 forcefields anyways.
