wow that was crazy. what could taeja have done better? seemed like he played really well but he just got dismantled D: hope he can manage the comeback

He lost the first fight, and Sen had a bigger economy, so the game snowballed.

amazing play by Taeja, but it does not matter lol, it's not even close, nerf the mines!

lol yes sen is just playing awful and somehow winning.

i don't agree with that though, he's making a lot of mistakes but played very greedy so it evens out!

I am just kidding because taeja lost a tvz auto = terran UP all of a sudden.

It's segments like these where missing Frodan really shows, he always did a really good job on this stuff.

Well put. I guess Sen defended well for his economy to kick in, and then he had a huge victory when Taeja engaged on creep with 1/1 against Sen's 2/2.

But those mine hits yo...

They were both 2-2 at the exact same time if i remember correctly.

Probably not - the way things are lit it's probably likely the booth windows have a "one-way mirror" effect.

Weirdly enough I didn't actually see any huge mistakes by Taeja, even though he seemed to be getting crushed..

his engagements were just bad, he fell behind in supply and took eco damage on the third when sen pushed. bad engagements is a big enough mistake for either side in any macro zvt

I do think I was correct.

That clumped up a click into defensive widow mine set up was especially impressive.

This segment made me think of the scene in Elysium where Matt Damon is talking to the robot-cashier thing.

hopefuly we all don't start talking about mines and balance given that sen was already a million lightyears ahead of taeja before those connections and was about to transition into ultra

Sen was ahead because Taeja could never get a decent widow-mine hit due to Sen's unit control. When transitioning into ultras, he a-moved his army into 6 widow mines. But he knew he was ahead that he could get away with it. It was risky, and gutsy move. Or he underestimated Taeja's mine count.

Not if he's still practicing with Tasteless.

It was really close. But Sen's 2/2 finished during the fight, and Taeja's finished during his retreat.
