I don't watch his stream, and I'm really unimpressed with angry Idra in general - when he plays well, he's pretty damn good. When he's off, it can go from okay to wtf pretty fast. But as a caster? He's been excellent as I'm watching today. He's being pretty engaging and knowledgeable, although my only suggestion for him is for when he's on camera. His "face time" with the camera shows his focused practices and past as a player - total stone faced killer. It's okay to be a little more expressive. + Show Spoiler + Alternately, he could possibly teach Machine to lip sync. Also, ASUS RoG, stop with your ultra effective techporn advertising!! I'm already seriously considering an effing $500 motherboard. The only upside to it is it appears to be damn future proof as long as processor sockets don't go wibbly again.

Well. When I started getting into dota, mostly with dota2, tobi was the go-to guy for me. I think he is a great caster when getting into the scene. As my knowledge of the game increased I kinda watched less and less, since his knowledge is pretty limited and his casting seems somewhat "generic" as it is mostly consisting of him pointing out where x and y are moving, and what item x and y are picking up. BTS feels more complete in that regard as they are way better analytical and their play by play are not equal, but not bad either. I feel that better game knowledge >>>> play by play, as I usually are able to see the stuff anyway and would rather listen to HOW and WHY the players are doing stuff etc. Ayesee for example has a way smoother voice, and seems more likeable. So it seems like his place are kinda "shrinking?" as he has been quite arrogant and said some stupid things at time. this is PURELY a personal remark, but Tobi has also always seemed like he was quite arrogant/unlikeable as a person (I can't know, but it just seems like it) and it makes it hard to watch. edit: for better format (hopefully)

He could barely stop scowling while on camera and he didn't look happy just before they cut, when he thought he was off camera. I guess he's tired. I'd say he's tired, it's the end of the day and these matches are dragging on longer than they should, I can't really blame him when you also account for the jet lag.

Also its hard to get hyped for a game of Taeja against a medium level European. He sugarcoats his commentary, but his face speaks the truth.
