I think the goal of this particular IEM is to build up the local scene in China. With HotS just releasing there and an increasing presence of Chinese players in International players, it has really good timing. Too bad Jim/Macsed can't go to WCS NA and got knocked out/DQ'ed from the tourney.

iono, the goal of this IEM was to have an adequate venue since WCS Finals decided to steal Gamescom from them
luckily carmac got revenge on his german oppressors by moving the grand final to poland
