The principle is the same stage of tournament does not matter. If you disagree with one you must disagree with both. Should have formulated that differently. What I'm trying to say: had they met in the semis Kane would already have had a great run(and CatZ too, ofc), now (an early round of the LB) it's just a case of a team manager getting out of the way of a team member, you could argue that Catz should not even have signed up with that premise, maybe, maybe not. You have basically just stated the problem and not given a reason why its ok. Its basically just me robbing a bank. You could argue that I shouldn't have even entered the building, maybe maybe not right? I'm genuinely confused as to what the problem is. (in the SC2 context) If it is true-he gave his team member a bye into the next round. This is not acceptable and is absolutely no different than if he played and deliberately threw the games. Which I assume everyone would have a problem with. What is the difference? In general team mates should not forfeit to team mates. If coach park forfeited to Demuslim, there would be a whole reddit thread about it, 500 comments deep.

Because it affects the integrity of the whole tournament? Imagine he worker rushed both games. No problem?
I don't care how he would have played out/thrown the games. He didn't, he forfeit in advance.
How does a forfeit affect the integrity of the whole tournament?

Bubble's hitlist: - The Fan favorite coach of EG-TL - a 14 year old boy. - A person who has inexplicitable groin problems. - A fan favorite player who's competing in his first LAN in ages
Up next: The only "random" player remaining in the tournament!

I should really found a team, spam open brackets with random master players and hire one good player who has a shot to win the whole thing. Of course the random master players would forfeit their matches against the team star. I will call my team sprout.
Best regards DogZ
edit: Before someone flames, I do not mean this seriously but that could happen if forfeiting wouldn't be punished.

So, what if he just decided to catch Happy Hour at the local bar and forgot about the time of the matches? Would it be a problem then? If this is getting your panties in such a bunch, just imagine the MLG Admin gave him the wrong time.

Nony was floating 800 minerals and 1500 gas at the end. Had those resources been units, he would have won.
The better played definitely won.
