You don't even necessarily have to lose the hellbats, and combined with lost mining time, you could throw them away for like 2-3 probes and still come out even / ahead. In the cases you get more than that (which is considerably often), they can win you the game. | ||

I'm sure many Terran players feel the same when they are getting proxy Robo'ed, DT'ed, Stargate'ed, or just aren't 100% focused on their army and gets caught by a force field or two. | ||
