The usual: Don't flame casters or players. Don't discuss balance in this or any LR thread. Don't call your fellow posters idiots. Be excited, happy and entertained. |

I pray for you, Ret, but I'm afraid even God can't intervene with what's about to happen to you. Why would Flash throw the game?

First time I don't agree with MKP ! I think they need to wait a bit more.
apparently Taeja said the same thing according to smix

Those breaks between the games take way too long. You can tell its an american production because there is twice as much ads then actual gameplay

What many people are not noticing is that the terran lineup for this tournament is ABSOLUTELY KILLER. Probably 70%+ or so of the top 10 terrans in the world are in this 32 man bracket. Of course terran will win a lot, even if this was WoL. The problem is not that they win a lot, but HOW they win. Innovation just made Leenock, a zerg who held his own since GSL open season 2 look like a foreigner patch zerg. We understand as time goes by it will get better but this is frustrating to watch. And naturally this was only because of Medivacs, and absolutely not because he opened 2-bases Mutalisks with a late third against fast triple OC each game. With the new units terran is able to deny fast third bases of zerg really easy. So zerg is basicly forced to go 2 base tech or play really risky and hope terran plays passive. But terran can open 3OC and pressure the zergs third at the same time. There lies the real problem in ZvT at the moment. Zerg is not able to come out even into the midgame with terran Wrong. A few defensive Roaches to secure an early third is perfectly viable, watch the Bomber vs Goswser series. Difference is, Terran isnt one being forced to build something, but always forcing the zerg. Being forced just to defend, play passive to get on top is almost the only option now for zerg, which wasnt back in WoL, due to improved drops (Mvacs), improved defense (tanks siege/mines), improved composition (hellbats, late game ravens). Let's hope it isnt being 'figured' out yet, aka. metagame will shift, but it sure seems so. Don't worry, I'm sure blizzard will come out and nerf some terran strategy like they did for the reaper, thor, bf hellion, ghost

It happens, he just played worse than his opponent. It's ironic the 1 game he did manage to win was Mech to SkyTerran too. Despite him losing game 1 with Mech as well. But hey, who needs imba Boostervacs due to a Korean Terran having 350+ APM and playing super aggressive to throw zerg around like a ragdoll?

That just got annihilated.

Rain making Jjakji look like a scrub. Mothershipcore fulfilling its purpose.

If that's great play, I feel that the game was soured by zerg skill in WoL. You don't build static defence when you're behind a base to a terran, you expand further or attack. Turtling up building spines and spores when you're behind on eco is an amateur move. good point until you consider that Leenock had tons of minerals in the bank and a terran that's constantly dropping. Sure, double drops will kill static defenses quickly, but I do think having a couple of spines and spores COULD help if there's zergling support nearby. What Leenock was doing didn't seem particularly effective.
He likely had tons of minerals cause he kept losing injectionqueens that made him starve out on larvae, his best shot was getting up a good army in his 'behind on eco' position and attack Innovation. If you start building static D from that point on you're just delaying your death, it's not a winning move if you don't have an eco lead.
If Innovation starts seeing Leenock put up statics and he's already up a base, why not just chill with the medivacs for a while and put down 3 extra CC's?
