Taeja said until yesterday his hands were so bad he could hardly play. Not sure if it's getting better.

Source? I know in his interview on his return to PL he said that his wrists were feeling better and were much more manageable.

Edit: Nevermind I found it. It was from his interview after winning.

You advance to RO4 after a nail-biting full set series. How do you feel?
Until yesterday, my hand was hurting so badly that I could hardly play. Then, last night, I had a dream where I was playing against Soulkey. I was worried about my hand the whole time but somehow I played without any trouble. It felt so real for a dream. So when I woke up, I tried holding my mouse and it just felt so much better compared to the day before. In the match itself, I became nervous after giving away two sets but that just makes the victory that much sweeter.

Except Taeja wasn't getting played in PL for weeks because he was getting treatment and couldn't practice enough >_>
There's a picture on his twitter too, lol.

Nah dude, aLive, Jjakji and PuMa have all better solo accomplishments

But regarding raw skill I would put him in top 8 and regarding most valueable teamleague terran 1st / 2nd tied with MKP

Teamleague terran is probably tied between Mkp, Gumiho and Taeja.

People forgetting that Puma became famous for his retardly sick TvT.

You can't mention the best Teamleague terrans and not mention MMA. This guy was the ace for the Slayers team that won 2 GSTL titles. MMA began as a teamleague monster.

began as one, but didn't end as one, not winning a game in GSTL for a loong time

yes, only the rest of the season, and all VODs so far

Well in terms of protoss that win things... MC, Parting, HerO obviously won the most + were the most "always around"-ish protosses? Except for MC's slump I guess. Hard to call it consistent haha, especially because HerO would be a serial Code S champion by now if he consistently played like he does in december.
Creator, Seed, Rain, Squirtle, Genius obviously did well too and some won things too but not as stretched out I'd say.

i disagree on hero "obviously winning the most" since two dreamhacks and an NASL i would rate lower than squirtle's 2nd places, seed's GSL, rain's OSL/WCS asia and probably even with creator's #2BWC/WCSKR/TSL4. and really, parting "winning the most" is a bit inflated too since he won BWC and WCG, beating one korean along the way haha

For BWC he had to qualify in the Korean Qualifier so there's that at least.

Squirtle has been around for longer as those two and has the best GSL finish of them. I believe Rain is stronger - but winning this somewhat akward first OSL and making one Ro4 appearance in GSL isn't enough for me to put him above all the other protoss players who have delievered for 1year and more. If he had attended this GSL and had requalified for the next I would have strongly considered him.
And Creator... Imo he is lacking Code S results. But might be just my memory that plays tricks on me.

Also: Squirtle games tend to be epic.

squirtle may have been around longer, but he didn't post up much during the time that he was:

Well I was was purely talking numbers. Rain's OSL wasn't all that impressive to me, he had godlike PvP and beat Parting, then Last who basically did the same build 3 games in a row, then Rain figured it out and reverse swept him, and a slumping DRG. His WCS Asia was built almost purely on his godlike PvP.
Squirtle's GSL and IPL second place I don't rank as high as winning 2 Dreamhacks and an NASL. Squirtle beat HerO to get to the GSL finals so it's not like HerO couldn't have won it, especially considering he was the only player to beat Mvp that season.
Creator's WCS KR is the most impressive out of his accomplishments imo. BWC was almost easier, lol. TSL4 I don't think is to rank as high as a live event like DH or NASL, especially not this NASL HerO won. The competition he faced there & all season long to qualify was waaay harder.
Seed's GSL while super impressive was kinda awarded to him by Byun, lol. And it was a one time thing so far so I wouldn't rank it as high as HerO's 2DH and NASL either. It's bigger than each individually but not all of them.

well if you put it that way, both of hero's dreamhacks are him beating up foreigners and meeting a korean terran in the finals~ his nasl run was really solid though, i agree there. i'll disagree though; TSL4 was harder than NASL in terms of the online part
