We have recovered all of the data from the cup last night and re-formed the brackets as we found evidence to support the results on battle net. We are looking good to resume! The cup will resume on Monday 11th Feb, at 7pm GMT (8pm CET) with any round 2 matches that are left to play.
This is tournament is part of the qualification series to win a slot at the ESET UK Masters event at Insomnia48 featuring a £10,000 ($16,050/€12,000) prize pot of which a full breakdown can be seen on the right side of this page. The top 2 players from this tournament will win direct invites to the ESET UK Masters Insomnia48 event, recieve a hotel and up to £150(~$240/€180) towards their travel.

Wait so they put lemonytang, and RazerBlader in the players but not Rotcod, Highgain, Phamut, any of the prOp players or even Snitchables? I guess it is true what they say about the UK Scene

What part of "Open" qualifier is hard to understand. Nobody was put into these qualifiers at all? It's whoever has wanted to sign up, has signed up?

I didn't know it was so cheap to get to the UK, just remember its £150 towards travel not the full amount and to top it off the tournament is in a remote place called Telford, no airport and limited train service if you don't drive. Its also BYCO so keep that in mind too. But good on those that can make it!

All players get access to the expanding Turn up and Play area, Actually one step better all qualified players get get a PC for the weekend to practice on. There is enough around for players with hotel only being 2 minutes away to not need a car but closest airport is Birmingham and only train ride away which isn't ideal but good enough.

Wow, that player list is starting to look intense. HyuN, Sage, Daisy + so many other amazing players from both the UK and abroad this is going to be an absolutely amazing evening to watch (and cast)!
Seriously though, if you want to take part make sure you sign up and give it a go - will be a lot of fun and I can assure you that if I wasn't casting I would 100% be playing in this (although with the talent signing up already, maybe not for longer than the first game :D).

Btw is it only 1 casting group? Its a big open qualifier, you could easily fit in two casting groups.

Telford has a very good transport system and the venue is less than a mile from the main train station from where you can be in Birminghan International airport within 40 minutes.

Will be a nice event, my first guesses would be Hyun (for obvious reasons) and MorroW (Because he has played HotS for quite some time already), but the list is very stacked, so a lot of people could make it (Snute, TargA, Sage, Sting just to name a few). Rooting for GoOdy, Socke, Delphi, Dimaga and Tarson to get far or make it.

sadly website issues screwed up the bracket so the tournament is massively delayed, people probably lost interest. but come back because it's all fixed now and games will begin again :D

Time out, because their bracket went apeshit; hopefully it will come back soon. The viewer count is probably so low, because of IPL, also the first few rounds of an online qualifier with >100 participants tend to be not that spectacular, I´m confident, that the number increases over time & when IPL is over.

I tried watching the steam 3 times on 3 different days now. Every time I see a waiting screen that games will come up shortly. However, even after 15 miuntes (each time) I never got to see a game. Just wanted to let you know that this is not best practice.
