Enough energy for missile when ravens are created could have make the final battle interesting but the ending was sad after such a good game.

Yes, the reason for that is because everything snowballs in this game. So getting upgrades/more units faster (due to getting the 270) quicker is almost always better. Some people would argue that in a mined out game, supply drop is better. However, if the terran spent it on mules, he/she might have ended the game before that point. The only supply drop that really made sense was the ones used on super tight cheese mass marine timings back in 2010.

It's not bad macro. TY is consciously doing this. It's just too much Supply Depots Calldowns to be Macro mistakes. And it makes since he was going mech and staying too much on 2/3 bases.

When then somebody hasn't explained to him that you can grow your economy faster in SC2 if you have more money, which makes mules almost always better except in a very small amount of situations, and almost none of those situations are before a player is at 3 base economy since they'll get there much faster if they use mules.

Nah, supply drops will affect the terrans' early game economy too hard, since the worker production is the slowest of all races. So the MULE eco boost is designed to make up for protoss chronoboost and zerg's injects. That's it basically. The phase of the game where supply drops would make up for it is the lategame because of the "getting minerals for free" factor. But in lategame, terran already has x/200, so depots are set already.
