I believe coaching decisions have cost them at least 2 matches in both rounds of the SPL so far.

Another 4 -3 where EG-TL lose, they choke in the important matches!

EGTL breaking hearts again. In the words of every teenage-angst-raprock-band:

If those ace matches were all played by Jaedong, EG-TL is probably ranking at top 3 right now. He got the clutch gene which other players on EG-TL don't possess.

You need to give your lesser players experience in the booths, even if it's just to make them feel like they actually belong there. Every single player on every single team is capable of taking a game off anyone. That's why proleague is so great.

Hopefully EGTL figure the formula soon.

The coach didn't have many options there.

Even if you do it, you can lose ofc, but at least you don't get the feeling that the picks were terrible and a 4-2 was very likely if he did.
Hate the 'exposure' mentality. You don't see other teams doing this except for IM (they don't give a shit about team leagues anyway, so they use it to give new players experience).
It's like EG is in Korea to get the name out there, but not to aim at the title.

Why you gotta use an Elephant to rank up? EGTL has more then 2+ years of experience then the Kespa players. Also, 2 year old builds are still viable in this game so don't give me that "The metagame has changed" crap either.

Hwanni is the translator/managing assistant, I don't think he's making these decisions by himself. But really, EG-TL should be fielding Taeja/Hero/Stephano/Jaedong every game unless there is a good reason not to. Perhaps Revival or JYP can be given some play time, but you definitely want three of those four playing every week imo.

IIRC Hwanni and Trot have said they will pick players not based on winning but who can get the most experience of the match. Same with LG-IM thats why you should NEVER trust on them in Team Leagues.. catastrophy damage done to my FP. why you do this, jangbi?

I don't think its ever been confirmed who is in charge of player picks.
