Foreigner matches don't by themselves draw a lot more people. The main draw is a foreigner match deep in the tournament AFTER taking out couple top Koreans. THIS is where the storyline comes in. If people just wanted to see foreigners play, we would see huge numbers for NA/EU qualifiers and such. But this is not the case. Why did Naniwa matches in GSL get so many views. It isn't JUST because of Naniwa. The number for his other tournament (Dreamhack, etc) aren't as high. It was the fact that he was beating Koreans and making Ro16, Ro8. That is where the hype is. | ||
