MKP has this theory that he needs to mix up things constantly, instead of just using the style that maxmimizes his winning chances. This is what I always disliked about MKP. You should only use a different style if it has synergies with your other kind of openings. Like making a 11/11 once a while is pretty good if you normally opens 1 rax gasless expand, as your opponent now has to prepare for both builds. However, this mech opening has no syngergy with his bio play, and most likely he has better chances of winning by just going bio. Someone like MVP is a master of this. He has figured out a few bo's for each matchup that looks similar but in reality requires a completely different reaction from his opponent. | ||

But even white protoss > mech | ||
