When: Friday, Dec 14 11:00pm GMT (GMT+00:00) (we will also rebroadcast repeatedly afterwards!)
Format
Contender Division Group A is made up of four teams: Fnatic, Acer, NsHoSeo, and inFDreamteam Gaming. Group B contains TSL, ROOT, FXO EU, and Complexity. Both groups will play round robin against each other team in their group. When group stages are over, the top two teams from each Group will have a chance in the Up and Down matches to join Premier Division.
The first map will be on a set rotation, and then it is loser's pick.
Casters
Today's games will be commentated by Kevin Knocke and Kibbelz!
NOTE: We have changed the naming schema for this season of IPTL. We will now be naming our seasons by year (though I know you were all excited for IPTL XXVI). This will be IPTL 2013 Season 1.
who is Darkstar? and Ellenkey? I guess at least NSH is getting players. And Seal is still on their roster? I feel like that's just wishful thinking that he'll try to come back by NSH
I wish the guy that does the preview and posts the rosters had their race next to them. The rest of the preview is fantastic, is just a minor detail, especially for a lot of the 'contender teams' with players people (like me) might not be too familiar with.

Seal is not on roster. Brave is the rising star he played incredibly well vs Flash in GSL. And yeah who is Darkstar? I know that EllenKey joined (http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/Iron_Squid_%E2%80%93_Chapter_II/Korean_Qualifier he showed not bad perfomance here and his games and some his games were broadcasted his name is 권혁재) but never heard about Darkstar can you say his korean name please?

I guess their latest recruit this would probably be a good time to debut the kid I suppose. I believe ellenkey is a former IM zerg.
Can you give a source please?
I thought I saw it on there when I posted and the OP has been edited since then. wouldn't be the first time they've listed a roster mistake in the OP since they had Weekend and Tree on FXO's roster when they've long since retired. I may have just seen wrong, though

I guess dtG will play as inF-dtG since their roster contains three Italian players, and Sickness has joined inFerno eSports now as well. Who is Happen?
jjakji seems to be still playing waaaaaaaaay to carefully in general and dying because of it, I guess he never loses to cheesers but then again ppl can just make 4 bases while he stays inside his, too scared to move out.

not really impressed with them tonight.
Although it is relatively normal for any team to go up to 7 games against lesser opponents in the AK format for the simple reason that you often try to get away with as much training for your b-teamers as possible. I agree, however, that jjakji should have all-killed without much troubles.
NSHoSeo, why have you become so awful?? Seriously, I liked the old team so much, but now there's only Jjakji left who's winning a game once in a while (and sculp, but he isn't even playing).
dtG is a great team, a group of good friends that I use to hang out with sometimes on the KR server! They're working really hard and not getting a lot of attention.
