Directions by MRT: Exit A to Lucky Chinatown / Smith Street. Walk 5 mins
Non-player HoTS key collection: 1pm-1.30pm both days. If you're late look for me.

Lunch will be provided for players and spectators from 12pm-2pm on both days
So don't eat before coming! Have lunch here! There will also be all the latest alienware computers to check out in their inbuilt store. Tea refreshments will be from 3:30-4pm on both days.

*Top 8 in each Pro and Am group advance to Day 2*

Day 2 will be single elimination Bo3 with a Bo5 finals.

Not familiar with GSL format?

All matches are best of three with map vetoes.

Match 1 1 vs 4 (e.g ProAnn vs Vendetta)
Match 2 2 vs 3 (e.g River vs Rekanise)

Match 3 Winner of Match 1 vs Winner of Match 2 Winner (Match 3 winner is top seed of group)
Match 4 Loser of Match 1 vs Loser of Match 2 (Match 4 loser is eliminated from the competition)

Match 5 Loser of Match 3 vs Winner of Match 4 (Match 5 winner is second seed of group)

Note the admin for your group and approach them if you have any questions on the day.

Day 2 Details:

80 HoTS keys have been given out today.
Blizzard will be giving us 20 more HoTS keys to give out to the public for tomorrow.
There are about 10 HoTS posters left for the public to. First come first serve, 12noon at counter.

1200: Lunch served
Players please arrive just before 12, take your time to eat then go set up your stuff at 12:40.
Matches will begin at 1pm sharp

There is a bit of change in the schedule, as we finished too early today.
So from Ro8 onwards EVERY game will be streamed.

Recap:

Brought to you by Alienware and Gamespot, organised by SC2SEA and hosted at Alienware's brand new LAN cafe at Lucky Chinatown. This tournament saw iFLASH FlashdraKe iTerran emerge as champion, winning his first big tournament and a brand new x51 Alienware desktop! After fininshing first in his group stage, he beat TNLadyBug 2-0, then DM.MCZ River and EveVendetta in two close series 2-1 to go on to a clean 3-0 victory in the finals.

There were two very strong notable performances to mention. iFADE FaDeManly originally meant to play in the Amateur bracket, finished second in his first ever tournament, knocking out hot favourite EveYekke and EveDougy along the way. EveVendetta also places in 3-4th in one of his first tournaments. eehanWrath wins the honour of finishing as the highest ranked amateur, making it to the top 8 defeating DM.MCZ DgNa (boyfriend of Polaris). Other amateurs mGGGlazed, mGGTartarsause, TNLadyBug, Rstnpss and FlashAccel also put up good fights against the Pro players.
