Undead vs Human = balanced Undead vs Nightelf = maybe even slightly better for UD, but pretty balanced Undead vs Orc = are u fucking kidding me Blademaster a-click win :/// Well its not THAT bad, but its pretty good for Orc - and there was a shitton of Orcs :D €: And: TeD was the best UD player in the world for over 3 years, id say from 2007-2008 ish on. Its not rly suprising he beats Moon who plays Sc2 a lot. TeD bought himself a little restaurant in china as far as i remember, so he doesnt rely on progaming anymore. The whole decoration is warcraft 3 - the seeds are moonwells and so on. Pretty cool :D | ||

Pretty cool :D That's pretty sick info, my friend told me about the restaurant but I actually didn't believe him at the time, cool to get some corroboration there. I was just wondering because I've heard like, the European players (especially Nani) making out like UD was completely gimped I also have a kind of flawed idea of how WC3 matchups are balanced because, I was like really atypical in my Nelf preferences. I'd be like a Terran player now whose best matchup is TvZ I guess  Nelf vs Hu - My best matchup, by far Nelf vs Ud- Was ok at this Nelf vs Orc- Was pretty bad at this considering how it was supposed to be a Nelf-favoured matchup Nelf mirror- Godawful at it for some reason. | ||

TeD is probably the best UD in War3 history, but he just recently picked up the game again in the past few months (so prob. same amount of prep as Moon). UD's also slightly favored against NE but not by too much. But yes, TeD is amazing, is one of the only UDs to maintain a decent win-rate against Orc (say, closer to 50% than 30% ), and his micro has always been top-notch. Additionally, there aren't many UDs of his caliber to practice with when you're prepping a MU these days; I think the only top UD would be Lucifer.Anyways T____T Moon. Gluck TeD in the finals. | ||

He slumped for about a year, but aside from that year, he was the best UD in the world. Most UD's said that they were UP, and that statement is true vs Orc, but TeD won everything anyways (except for when the top Orcs were in their top shape). | ||

FWIW, both Lucifer and Believe don't think that the Orc vs. UD MU is that bad. Lucifer says that it's normally 55-45 in favor of Orc (if you're not facing off some UD killer like Grubby or Lyn at their peaks), but with the right maps it's perfectly manageable. Believe said something like UD is just a race that's punished more heavily for mistakes and that you just need to play better, lol. In terms of representation, I think we had the best of each race here but HU and arguably NE. Orc, Fly and Lyn. UD, TeD. NE ... difficult to say because there are so few well-performing NE these days; it's kind of sad to say this, but I honestly think TH000's NE off-race is better than Remind, but Remind has military coming up, and Moon -- I was surprised to see him playing here. HU could've used more TH000, period; if not TH000, then definitely Kenshin, possibly Yumiko. | ||
