The MST#06 is already the sixth installment of Munich’s Starcraft 2 LAN Tournament.

In a time and age of area-wide broadband internet LAN parties have become more or less obsolete. In order to combat the trend of anonymous online cups we host big local LAN tournaments since June 2011. Up to 80 players meet on Saturday morning in order to determine Munich’s StarCraft 2 champion in a 10 hour tournament. Our goal is to give the participants the exciting feeling of an offline tournament while still being a friendly, laid-back event. Just like our slogan puts it:
Starcraft with friends!

FORMAT

1v1 Tournament: 64 players
Group phase -> Top 2 from each group get into the CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT, Lower 2will be placed in the FUN TOURNEY
After that it will be a Bo3 Single Elimination System up until the finals.

2v2 Tournament: 8 Teams -> Bo3 Single Elimination

What should I do when my Battle.net Account get’s blocked because of ‘suspicious activities’? Since our last event Blizzard has sharpened their security measures. Logging in from a different location than you normally do often can be enough to trigger the alarm and get your account blocked. In order for this to not affect our tournament we have gathered information on what to do in the case your account gets blocked.

I can tell you that about 50% of the players are master or grandmaster level and the most notable signups would be: Mondragon, Hazed, AcRo, Biphy and Nimitz. Some local heroes like BlacKK and mAth are playing too.
