Soo's mechanics were solid as fuck from what I've seen, his strategy needs work though.

That's not saying very much...

WCS was kind of weird though, I feel its racial distribution gets blown out of proportion. Rightly or wrongly a lot of Terran players didn't take the WCS Korea seriously enough, hell MVP even withdrew to play in an IEM (albeit that may have been at the behest of sponsors. Polt was the only Korean Terran I can remember getting anywhere far in it, and he lost to an in-form HerO and then somebody else in consolation brackets.

In the foreign scene, well it's dominated by non-Terrans anyway so no surprise none of them made it through.

Oh, they took it seriously. Just a lot of upsets in the qualifiers of the top Korean terrans. I think it was just around the time that zergs all went 6 Queens after patch and terrans were still trying to adjust so that might have contributed.

Ah, was this held at the same time where Terrans were like, 20% win or lower in the GSTL after the patch? They stabilised pretty quickly but you might be right on this given the timing

This was held way after GSTL Season 2. The race distribution was not terrible but most of the terrans got knocked out early by protosses and KeSPA zergs.

Life vs Flash and Leenock vs Bomber, fuckin sickkkkkk.

Honestly expect both Leenock and Life to advance, zergs really strong these days, not to mention I think their skill levels are above Flash and Bomber anyway.

it was only about a month, and players like byun and mkp fell in the qualifiers, which were held before they tourney started i guess
