Still think its sad that Puma never got a seed when he was on form, obviously now he doesn't deserve it based on current skill, but last year he really should have been at least in Code A. PuMa kinda missed his timing because there were better options at the time. A player who was playing as well as PuMa in foreign tournaments yet not in Code A at current time would definitely be a great seed candidate RIGHT NOW, but it just wasn't the case in the past. Nestea's not a great option, but given the current situation, he's one of the better ones.

At the same time, they've almost completely run out of useful foreigners to give Code S seeds to. Foreign seeds don't always HAVE to be coming off a good tournament performance, but right now their options are pretty much Stephano (if he accepts and stays in KR), SaSe, or re-invite a prior seed like NaNiwa. Besides Stephano, none of those options are really first or even second choice for GomTV. That's why Nestea fits in so nicely. Nestea is an icon of Code S, a player who has a fucking award named after him, and is a huge fan favorite. For the three time champ who has been in more Code S seasons than anyone, there would be little to no backlash about seeding him right back into Code S. 90% of viewers would agree that he deserves more it compared to a non-stephano foreigner or yet another KeSPA pick. he's just gonna fall out again right away ;o if you MUST seed a non kespa korean put YONGHWA in there

Thanks for the correction, this teaches me I should not try to work out who can advance based on 10 seconds of thought on an empty stomach! I should give Khaldor more credit.

YongHwa and First springs to mind, for example.

They could just skip the seeds this time around, though I agree with above the YongHwa would be good based on his GSTL games, and also First cause he's a boss.

Yeah, it makes sense when looking at other candidates.
