Looks like we still get the wanted Flash vs NaNiwa MU anyways. HuK vs Jaedong should be interesting as well, though both MUs favor the Koreans heavily.
sorry about missing the Idra vs Bisu match (won the community vote). Idra forfeited his games against Bisu, so we're showing the 2nd and 3rd most voted on matches of the community poll (select vs soulkey and Jaedong vs Huk).

Idra forfeited his match against Bisu, so the next match from the voting will be played instead.
Wouldn't be suprised if idra pulls out on alot of games tbh, he is already 2-12, and has a reputation for it, shame really, was looking forward to seeing Bisu v Idra
i gotta say, although people are complaining about this 10$ thing, i just bought a pass (5 days late) and 10 days of 1080p content with these players is definitely worth it...

How does that make any sense, anyway? These are replays, aren't they? How long ago were these played?
My post was just referencing this post on the first page about this issue:

So I bought a pass... but when I go back to the home screen it still says I need to purchase one? Is there something I need to do to activate it? I WANNA SEE FLASH

Naniwa is as good as ever, I think he will start doing well in GSL again soon . That was really amazing mind gaming. The only flaw I saw with Nani's play was that he attacked before the 3/3 finished, it finished RIGHT as the battle ended.

top 8 from kespa with the highest win/loss record advances to "championship" bracket RO8, RO8 winner plays winner of NA/EU/Gsl pro bracket for 10K and seed.
Inter-conference preliminary play The player pool is divided into two conferences: the Proleague conference, and the Major League Gaming conference The Proleague conference consists of the top 24 ranked KeSPA players in Proleague The Major League Gaming conference is further subdivided into the North American, European, and Korean/Taiwanese regional divisions. Players have been invited into this conference by Major League Gaming based on their individual performance in previous Pro Circuit events. Every player in the Proleague conference will play every player in the Major League Gaming conference Each matchup round between two players will consist of two games played; the number of game wins versus losses will determine an individual's rank within the conference and the division. The top eight Proleague players in that conference will move on to the single-elimination playoffs. Within the Major League Gaming conference, the top four North Americans in their division, as well as top two Europeans in their division, and finally the top two Korean/Taiwanese players in their division, will advance to the single-elimination playoffs. Single-elimination playoffs All playoff matches will be best-of-seven. Proleague and Major League Gaming conference playoff entrants will be placed on opposite halves of the single-elimination playoff bracket. The two conferences will finally meet in the grand finals of the tournament. Proleague players enjoy power-protected seeding based on their performance in conference. Major League Gaming seeding takes place in a different manner: The highest seeded North American player will play the lowest seeded North American player and the second highest seeded North American player will play the third highest seeded North American player The European players will play each other The Korean/Taiwanese players will play each other.

i just did, tyler from support said they dont support codes that were given out and no way to prove how i won it
Is the an ETA on when the VoDs of non-casted games will start being uploaded?
Will be up this week. we had to re-architect a few things in order process this many games thru in a timely fashion. Didn't want to release a few at a time--wanted you folks to have access to all of them at once.
Note, one thing is that POV will be available from one of the players for each game. We're working on getting both pov's for each game released, but to get the matches to you as fast as possible, we're going to release one at a time.

They were all posted on reddit, I assume the first 5 people then got theirs.
Jesus christ 2 base fast muta O_O I hope he scouts this... he has no anti air..
Nevermind, pro scan sees spire finish, and ebay starts. I wish I was that smart to see low queen count, no third, and know to scan as something fishy is up.
I feel that the Mutas' behavior should have told Fantasy something very weird was going on. With such a fast muta timing, and the Zerg not getting a third base (the SCV was there a long time before Hawk killed it), those mutas HAD to do major damage.

And Hawk wasn't even trying.
Those kind of muta ling all ins were the thing a while back briefly, when the BW guys weren't really playing SC2, then they fell out of style because people started to hold them easily. He may have not come up against it much, who knows.
He did a triple bunker block and killed the natural, but Soulkey broke out with ling bane and ran his lings into his base before he could fly and land his barracks back to wall off.
On October 09 2012 10:44 Lunareste wrote: Soulkey and MC look alike in that picture, are he and MC related? Both of their last names are Min Chul.
MIn Chul is actually their first name. A lot of Asian countries (Korea, China, etc) have the first character of their name being their 'last name' and the 2 characters after that are their 'first name'.

Game 1 pretty good. Naniwa went 1 colossus no range and switched to many archons and busted Flash's third killing ~30 scv's after that Naniwa was ahead and managed to overpower Flash.
Game 2 Naniwa went 4 gate against 3cc from Flash but Flash managed to sneak an scv in Naniwas base and built 3 bunkers, took almost no damaged and quickly after killed Naniwa 3 base vs 2 base.

idra
WOW did not expect that. Idra foreign hero.
MLG never releases replays anymore, some stupid reason I forget.

- sniped observers and moved army into the natural to set it up - infestor unburrowed as the mothership hit 100 energy - forced the mothership positioning with corruptors while it charged energy - really good vortex (too bad he didn't throw lots of infested terrans into it)

NA player, no way. Some Eurpoean player, possible though.
Why does MLG always overprice everything they do? I know they wanna milk everything to get as much profit as possible but it has to be within reason. I'd much rather pay the subscriber amount for IPL, NASL, etc, than pay for every single damn event these guys do. Not to mention that every event they host is mediocre at best.
Can someone explain this stupid format? Why is NA getting four players in the playoffs when all their players suck ass? Furthermore why is the round of 8 NA vs NA and EU vs KR this definately limit the chances for a non-proleague player to win since NA will get atleats one player in the quarter finals and the NA players are way worse than other non-proleague by far? Why is this tournament so NA biased when the participating NA players suck?

It's a NA tournament, so a bias is accepted, though 4 is probably exagerated.

Lol are you seriously bitching about $10 as being over priced for the amount of content provided? I could see if it were $30 or something but $10? Hell, you can make more than that working 2 hours at mcdonalds. Stop complaining and go mow a yard or something. Start clippin n stop bitchin

This tournament has 2 stages, the regular season (and first round of playoffs) is a qualifier for different regions but instead of seeing the players inside the region battle among themselves we get to see them play the proleague guys. Once it's down to 8 players (who have qualified for MLG Fall Championships) then it becomes an eight man tourny for the 10k.
NA does get 2 qualifier spots from the MvP tourny, but also only 2 players make it out of the NA online qualifiers as opposed to 3 from both EU and KR online qualifiers. The groups at Dallas will have a total of 4 from NA, 4 from EU, 4 from non-proleague KR, 4 from proleague KR + the top 8 from last MLG (all non-proleague korea)+whoever makes it out of the open brackets.
I think the $10 is fair but I want to see ALL the games. There's no reason MLG can't find some up-and-comming caster to take the replays, cast them and post them online for everyone to see. Flash for example has played nearly 20 games and 6 of them are available to watch. WHY? ...
... It doesn't make any sense. And the VOD's should be up by now. Get your act together guys. Not professional.
On a positive note the casting has been great. Axslav is awesome, and I've really enjoyed the games.
Everyone except Jaehoon has a positive record against the MLG players . I would say so far an overall good showing from the Kespa players and proves that they have all improved a lot and not just the top players .
If MLG plans to make this a regular thing i hope they invite better players and also a free low quality stream wouldn't hurt .

This can't be a regular thing. This is pretty much a practice tournament for Proleague guys, once they caught up on skills and strategy, they won't be willing to waste time on this kind of tournament with little money, and also expose their strategies and playing style too much.

They have a contract with MLG and this is like a fun qualifier for MLG pro circuit events where the top players in the world participate .
