If MC wants to win today, he must forget about what happened against Seed in his last PvP series, but I'm not sure if he will be able to. Usually MC chooses the correct builds in this type of situation, but he failed to do so in the GSL Finals. Flying appears to be the real deal in SC2 as far as I am concerned, and I expect him to have a very high level of preparation for this match, especially considering the number of MC VODs that are out there. Like others have also mentioned, I fondly remember his breakout all-kill from a few years back, and perhaps he can put on a great performance today against an extremely deadly opponent. His best PvP achievement is a 2-0 record against the almighty By.Sun, but he also has an 0-2 record against the lackluster BeSt fwiw. I am hoping for a close series with entertaining games and my heart says 3-2 MC! But, my head says 3-1 or 3-2 Flying.
However, this will probably just end up being a boring Bo5 with lots of lasers

MC on top, Flying on bottom sends an early probe and starts with a forge first...the rest you can surmise probably. Flying tries to abuse the low ground position on Antiga and gets 1 cannon to go up. GG

MC adds an expansion along with Flying a little later. Both have Robotics now.

both fight at Flyings natural but with some forcefield control and non snipe of the colossus MC wins the fight. GG Flying.

It´s on OSL to put it there and OSL don´t really seem to care about foreign audiences.

they are new to this whole streaming thing. for their main audience they use their own tv station so they have not that much experience yet. give them a bit time.
Man I wish OGN/Kespa would get a clue and realize how bad they are screwing themselves out of viewers with Moletrap/Doa as their only English casters and various stream problems. Seriously, literally 10 minutes of research or a 5minute phone call with any big foreign SC2 figure would have told them Moletrap/Doa combo is suicide. You know there's a problem when GSL's Code A round of 48 has 10x more pages of discussion than the round of 8 of your tournament..

they don't make money from foreign audience.. it's already a pretty big deal to have english speaking casters they're wasting money on this you know ?

GSL was BW, too, once. And there was drama, too. Mainly Kespas fault.
Anyway, I can understand that this is a bit annoying. But on the other hand, there is a ton of potential, not only the players but also the organization.

Of course they don't make money with the way they're doing it, that's the point. They COULD make money off the foreign audience, just like GOM does, and have the korean audience on top of that, instead they hire Moletrap/Doa for no good reason. There's plenty of better casting duos who I'm sure would work for similar wages and be honored to cast OSL as whatever they are paying these two.

It's like Flying has some kind of Jedi mind trick to make MC's phoenix turn around before they get to that base. "This is not the nexus you're looking for".
Hahaha flying, just how do you get to this level of play and then lack the basic unit control to not stack all your collossi even with defender advantage and get half your zealots and all your archons stuck. Just embarassing play all around.

Oh thats what happened there I just saw massive pixels, a lot of frame lags and suddenly a gg.
Still happy to see MC advance, this means we'll have kespa vs esf/gom finals for sure :D

this ^^
Could not kill the Dong with 70 supply and his 4 bases running in BW, could not kill MC with +1 hidden base mining whole game, typical Flying.
Either way this series was a pretty standard PvP. Not very fun but watchable in my opinion. Still the worst matchup with PvZ (except when the match is no stomp here, specially when By.Sun plays).

But he gaves us one of the most entertaining games ever...
Wasn`t even MC trolling about his weight? Didn`t he just say during an interview that he is so good at eating that he can`t lose weight? He was quite funny about it.
MC's been tearing it up, not surprised in the least bit since he's 9-3 against the elephants in the MvP invitational. God I hope he gets through to the finals :D
Why are people praising MC for these games so much? His play was extremely mediocre all-around, flying just managed to botch advantageous positions every time... Whether it's due to lack of experience in SC2, nerves, or general badness, he was in a winning position both in g3 and g4, and MC didn't do anything to 'bring it back' - flying just rolled over and handed over the wins to him.

Maybe game 3, but not game 4 necessarily - MC played better than mediocre; it's just that the match-up is so bad.

You do realize you can pretty much always point out the flaws of the loser instead of the good plays by the winner in any game of Starcraft, right? Senseless negativity. The person who makes less mistakes wins. Just because Flying managed to have the better build orders in some of the games, cannon rushed, and proxied/hid stuff around the map does not mean that he did anything to deserve a real victory, whereas MC made the correct decisions, engagements, micro, and played generally well to capitalize on anything his opponent did wrong.
