Sniper vs. GuMiho Puzzle vs. AcE AcE vs. Hack Ace tried to gateway/immortal bust Hacks ramp but was stonewalled by three bunkers. Hack, in a moment of lunacy, salvaged his bunkers and moved down the ramp before stim and medivacs kicked in and was torn apart by Ace. Forced back up the ramp of his main with his natural obliterated, everything looked hopeless for Hack until Ace tried to break up the ramp. Hacks tech kicked in and picked apart Aces army, chasing the Protoss player all the way back to his own natural then with no AOE, knocked him straight out of the game.
Puzzle vs. Sniper Puzzle attempts to hit Sniper with a timing attack but a stellar zergling runby stops the push cold by unpowering the majority of Puzzles warpgates. After securing his main, Puzzle tries to salvage the push but meets a massive roach ling army at Snipers natural. Sick forcefields hold off a slaughter but Sniper held his natural and safely took a third. Puzzle, not sensing how even the game was, canceled his own third base and pushed out again. In the second push he was met by infestors and fungaled to shreds.
Puzzle vs. GuMiho Puzzle tried to 4 gate, GuMiho held on 1 base, game dragged out, GuMiho won.
AcE vs. Sniper Some shit happened. Cray cray
GuMiho vs. Hack Mech vs Mech, GuMiho played very fast and active on the map after Hack tried to punk him out with banshees. Clever, well done play by Gummyho

Thorzain got really sick with a bad case of tonsilitis before MLG, and forfeited his matches there, except one where he couldn't play properly and was knocked out. Weird group. Ace was a beast last in last season's qualis with his double speedprism templar drops, and such, I think he might grab a spot. I'd expect him to show some crazy dt plays too and new ceremonies? Definitely a fun guy to have in code s. Don't know what to expect from Sniper so I'm gonna skip him, and now comes the hard part (since gumiho should be #1, obviously): while I'm rooting for puzzle hack might be closer to ace (and they are teammates too) and as such, be closer advancing in the second place too.
Mirror matches might be the factor deciding the outcome of this group.

This isn't working out for Gumiho at all. He needs to smash the armies Sniper is sending at him, not just barely fend them off. I think it's just a matter of time before he taps out.

AcE just has the most derp decision making sometimes. He was really indecisive with that semi-all in counter attack, and then derps one more time to attack up the ramp, and then threw the game away when most people thought Hack was the one that threw it away. Both of them failed quite bad, except AcE multiple times D:

Thorzain has beaten gumiho before and his vT is good enough to pair up against hack and puzzle can be incredibly inconsistent it'd probably have taken quite a bit of luck if the kind of puzzle who thinks nexus first is a good PvP build turns up but the stars could have aligned for him.

No offense to gumiho or hack but as much as I love them, they're pretty inconsistent...Game 1 was I guess more that Sniper completely outplayed Gumiho by an amazing constant tech switch, but Gumiho and Hack both derp hard at times.

I guess it's not But the player must have like.. A stream it is connecting to that I could manually connect to through the player? Im signed in at Gom an all, I guess it shouldnt actually be a problem. It's just when I hit the links, it doesnt understand that it Should connect to the player

Maxed out roaches could win that fight if used in flanks and with burrow Raga4ka. Same story as blink stalkers. It comes down to control and positioning.

This game was pretty wild. Some sloppy mistakes by puzzle in the early game but some amazing play to make it somewhat close. I don't get why sniper decided that the best thing to do with an 80 supply lead is 1 a-ing it into a well positioned army comp that was designed to do well against exactly what he had :p
There was really no reason for puzzle to all in again there, seriously, immortal sentry just dies flat vs fungals. He knew infestors were out, should have just expanded and taken it to late game

Back on topic - Really shocked about Sniper I don't think hes Code S quality at all whereas Puzzle has been really consistent but that's the nature of the Up/Downs
