If MC wins his 3rd GSL championship before another Protoss has even won 1.. that would be an amazing feat. He's carried the races hopes and dreams for 2 years now in the GSL. He's the president toss whether he wins or loses -- he's no flash in the pan player.

The Legend of the Fall
The Legend of the Fall is a belief that a Protoss player will win the OSL in the Fall (Autumn). This Legend started in SKY 2001 where Garimto defeated Boxer in the fall, stopping Boxer from winning three back to back OSLs. This curse was perpetuated the following fall in 2002 SKY OSL where Reach defeated Boxer once again in the Fall. It continued through Anytime's miraculous run in the So1 OSL and was repeated in the Incruit OSL by Stork, defeating Fantasy in the fall. Most recently, JangBi kept the Legend of the Fall alive by defeating Fantasy himself in his second consecutive OSL Final appearance during the 2011 Jin Air OSL.

You must be thinking of Royal Road.. although it's still makes me a bit tetchy to hear that as well.

I feel like this is MC's to lose. He's done all this before, twice in fact.

However, given how good we know Seed is and keeping in mind that this is a PvP, I don't see him winning as out of the question.

Prediction is MC 4-1 with a good mix of tight all-ins and solid macro builds.

If MC wins he would have won a GSL each year that SC2 has been out. Which is amazing consistency and longevity.

Still, after seeing Seed's incredible comeback against Symbol, I want Seed to win. He has the mental strength of a champion.

is there any chance I can only listen to the GSL finals tonight? I have a really bad connection on my phone and listening to the cast would be enough for me.
