if these guys wanna sound local they should just say "Western" rather than the clumsy and verbose "Univesity of Western Ontario". Someone should tell these guys.
Its nice of NASL to add this event to the weekend and bring the CSL this kind of fame.

To be brutally honest, I don't think NASL gave much thought to the broadcast schedule. I mean..hugely-hyped event, opening ceremony day 1 is a random WCS game, and day 2 is a CSL game. Just saying they didn't really channel that hype too well
GomTV and MLG have 50000X more experience putting on live events and it shows.
NASL is trying hard and given their budget they are probably doing ok though.
They did promise 400K over 3 seasons and only delivered 300K over those 3 seasons. So if this is their last event then that is really their only evil act. The rest of their problems are just inexperience and a lack of budget.

They're openly admitting putting on over 6 hours of Silver League games before the final, the latter being too late for anyone who works in Europe to watch?
Really poorly thought out - don't even really want to watch Silver League games anyway. Honestly not sure how much I'll watch of this. What's the point if I'm never going to be able to see the final anyway? Silver league, really? Why are you not playing, I bet you could win it all if it's so EZ.

You can take something away from Dreamhack summer. How did Dota2 get 60k viewers, QL upwards of 20-30, 1.6 also quite high, all using a single stream? Smarter scheduling can help stretch out the excitement level across the viewers, and keeps the crowd hyped all throughout several game titles, or in this case, different leagues

I find it very odd that any tournament would try and sell their show like that tbh, but I'm not slamming the players by saying it. Literally just repeating what they have said. It's just not what I want to watch, if that's what it is.

go watch wcs south america, casted by grubby and there is a TvZ in the WB final

Why not stream the finals now? So everyone can watch it?

This IS the CSL Canadian Grand Finals. If you mean, NASL Grand Finals, it's because NASL is saving the biggest "event" for last.

Well think of it like this. If they didn't say that, the whole community would blow up with how bad everyone is, not having a single positive comment. By putting "being bad" in a more positive light, atleast a few might be able to enjoy it.

Yesterday was pretty great but one thing that bothered me was that they almost never showed the health-bars. I can understand not having it enabled permanently but at least show them in the fights.

Well to be honest it would be to early for the west coast of NA. Well I guess it is specially bad for Asian viewers but not sure how many Asians that are watching the streams.

The skill level in this CSL games is so painfull, why the hell is it being streamed?

If you want to watch higher league of play, go watch RSL. It starts in 10 min and one can not complain about Kas vs. Fraer. This is not about the highest lvl. of play, this is about hype for NASL and support of smaller basic events of the NA scene.

lost viewers? If there wasnt a CSL, there would be no broadcast at all right now. Anything above zero > zero.

Accept that it may lower your viewers, but do so anyway so that you're being open with the community. Makes sense.
