Geoff Robinson @EGiNcontroL Opponent uses "valid" tactic where he stacks entire mineral line of drones on singular drone and walks across the map like a scouting drone sick combination of bo1 and apparently this thing isn't outlawed.. at all. That is BRUTAL. Can we see a replay? If there's one way to get something fixed it's if everyone starts doing it on ladder... for science. I heard a-move works against worker rushes. Yea I'm pretty sure it's auto win if you know what the other guys is doing right? You should have more workers. Saw that rush in a youtube video like a year ago. If he brought lings though it sounds strong against ffe. 100% ez if you know what it is/see the mineral line leave. But when you are thinking you are blocking a hatch and you see a single drone go by there is no reason to go check his mineral line. Workers sniped my 1 cannon then lings got in and lings/drones ran me over. it's ok.. it's apparently legit and it's bo1 so I have no qualm just sucks to lose that way is all.
ye, you block his natural and the zerg sends his drone to the third to pull away your probe and of course you follow to block the third. then he stacks 90% of his drones and sends them to your base. when you only watch the minimap it looks like a single drone and even when you move your camera to see what is coming it still kinda looks like a single drone. you have to watch really carefully to see that it isnt.
lost to this a couple of times as well ^^

Fraer never lost an actual game in the qualifiers, he only lost because of walkovers. If doesn't get tired or decides to go play another tournament he can go all the way.
Edit: And he's the first to secure points...

Am I the only one who thinks its a little unfair to let lalush play in this qualifier? If liquipidia is right (which 99% likely it is) its mathematically impossible for him to NOT be in TSL, isn't that basically the same thing as letting a past winner play? The games obviously matter a lot more to his opponents than to him.
Also an aside GO MAJOR AND MYCERION

Worker stacking has been there since BW days so it's apparently accepted feature of this game, only the creative use of it seems to be what catches people off guard, especially the pros who are used to the triggers of standard game.
It's Bo1 but anyone has the same chance and there are multiple qualifiers to average out games like these. If it's worth to spend few more hours playing Bo3's from Ro512 in qualifiers is of course another discussion.

About to play Acer.Bly in Round 3. Barely got through my Round 2 PvZ on Cloud Kingdom (42 minute game) due to a base trade which only left him with 2 brood lords while I had about 8-9 stalkers, 2 colossi, 3 sentries, and 8 probes while he had no drones to attempt to make an extractor!

But yeah, Fraer's good, and since Kas and Titan aren't playing today he has a good shot at making it far. :D Shame that he's got viOlet on his side of the bracket, if he even makes it that far, that'll be a tough opponent.

Tod just smashed socke in a war of the worlds engagement

Cloud is out. He was so close to qualify...he was the only player so far to obtain points in 7 qualifiers.

if he gains some places on the points ranking, or wins the qualifier, it improves his seeding for the main tournament.
and obviously chance to earn some money.
