EDIT: I've been told that it IS indeed 3 spots. Can you tell me where you got the information for just 2 spots please so we can rectify the knowledge someone has : )

Updated the OP with all the remaining qualified players from their respective nationals!
Also updated the casting roster in English to include Grubby, HasuObs and I : )
Cool beans, Go Fenix! I imagine the winner will be KiLLeR though.
Final prediction Fenix VS dKiller
this weekend is really azmazing,South America Finals,China Finals,Canada Finals.
Cool! Looking forward to watch the games. I hope some brazilian cab make into the finals. Even though we have 6 players there, I have to admit that they are not in the same level as Fenix and killer. But they can definitely show good games against them. Good Brazil!
too bad major is not there. but you can never know maybe new nickname? and its nice to see Fenix after such a long time. is he still on IM?
major is mexican, hes gonna compete against canada and USA
mexican players are going to compete in the North American WCS Finals...this is only for South American players from Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Colombia and Chile.
my bet for the top3: 1. Killer 2. Fenix 3. Tunico

Terrans of the world.... plz do something
Top tier players in South America: Fenix and dKiller.... probably final IMO.
Xions is a GM in NA (near 100 ) Darkness from Chile i heard he put a really good fight vs dKiller in the finals so if nerves dont get to him, he could be a surprise
I'm not as fimiliar with teh SA players, It will probably be Fenix and Killer fighting for 1-2 spot but I'm really interested to see who will be taking the other qualifing spot

so nice!! gl cruza and killer!
Where's Catz? Why didn't he play in the Peru nationals?
Also, isn't 3 seeds a bit much? How many of these players can really compete against the Koreans or top European players?

Catz did not play because he was moving at the time when Qualifier and Finals were.
3 seed is surely not too much, this is not about representation of skill but of playerbase. And specially since it assumably a 32 man finals.
Gogo Zeus!
Qualys from Argentina were this weekend. I got 9th place.
1st place was for Capoch 2nd place was Zeus 3rd place was Murila.
I think dKilleR will take the finals but the South American level is pretty good in general.
Go go Potiguar, Tunico and Naxx Go go Keyd team!
Maybe he is too young, but I still believe that Darkness is the dark horse of this final. I'm rooting for KiLLeR too. :D
Peruvian players Xions and Fenix
Brasil:
Darkness will pwn all. Just sayin'.
Fenix got this! he just got finished with his training for over a year in the IM house
Sad that there are basically no terrans. I guess the lower the skill, the scarcer they are.
Also, I think Brazil's skill level has improved significantly over the past months (wcs helped a lot on that), and i think a few can take a shot at Killer, and im expecting a brazilian as 3rd place (hopefully Falk!!!)
im gonna watch even though im not really interested in the players grubby, hasuobs and kaelaris could cast anything and i'd probably watch
Guys I posted some pictures of day 0 on my facebook page, is in spanish. http://www.facebook.com/DemonSwaPTV i'm in parque anhembi so I will be posting pictures and updates to my twitter. @DemonSwaP
Thanks!
so nice another event without terrans TT
Yeah, I'm really getting tired of watching only PvZ in tournaments.
Let's see how far Fenix can go then.
I was just talking with darkness and he said that the internet is super unstable, hope we wont see many disc
Hahaha that Chile pronunciation by Hasu sounded sooo funny
And fuck yeah Darkness 2-1 Zeus
Go Chile!
It's been a while since the server Latin America was unified with the North American, then the whole American continent plays on the same ladder. Tunico and Potiguar are GM too.
hahaha grubby and kaelaris so funny to watch
Next up: Fenix vs. Potiguar - winner qualifies for the World Championship Finals!
wow Fenix playing rly good and solid... he is several lvl above other players except dkiller
fenix in!!! anyone watching fenix vs dkiller?

Fenix and killer qualified, what a shocking result I did not see that one coming.

grubby and kaelaris must be the best duo out there! Really positive, intelligent and witty. Of course handsome but that's a given.

I thought he was at the IM house.

This is an extremely lovely compliment thank you. We enjoy working together and hopefully there will be more occasions where we can. If per chance Grubby is unable to qualify for the upcoming IEMs (God forbid, he'll always be a fantastic player and competitor at heart, hope he makes it!), I think it would be very fun to cast alongside him once again and may put the idea forward.

Last i checked he was still on IM, he literally just left Korea to compete in this tourney

If killer wins this, he will have taken this tournament with a 10-0 score
:D
Great job KilleR, winning the South American WCS without dropping a single game!!! :D
And killer get's a flawless victory.
Flawless victory ! great job killer ;D

I hope he does well in the global finals, such an underrated player.
He's pretty solid, still rooted for Fenix though. He's a cool guy (+ KiLLeR never wanted to give his name to Killer lol, it would've been a nice occasion to get rid of a bad ID)
