I'm honestly way too lazy to search through these teams last 3-4 matches to find out what game every player has to play today, so we'll find out as it goes along
Is http://hd.ognp2p.gscdn.com/ognhdlive working for anyone currently? Doesn't work in VLC currently and says to check the log, but I can't even find the VLC log file lol.

I'm fairly sure Effort is playing sc2 this week..I hope.

I think the VLC only comes online 5 mins before the games start, also try resetting VLC media player preferences and cache files ( just search reset into your search bar and it should come up )

KHAN: Shine, Reality, Sharp, TurN are on SC2. KOP, Stork, RoRo, Jangbi are on BW.
CJ: Effort, Hero, Horangee, Hydra are on SC2. Skyhigh, Snow, Leta, BByong are on BW.
Didn't check any farther than that. I'm pretty sure there are no errors, but sorry if there are. EDIT: Someone else did it while I looked. Oh well.

I'm not hating on LoL or anything, but how can a lot of people bear watching it? I tried watching it and it damn near put me to sleep. Guess it's just me.

They talked about it on SOTG earlier today but apparently a vast majority of the audience for LoL is LoL players but for sc we have a lot of fans that don't play much or at all.
I cant believe hydra as a zvz specialist to play so bad wow. You pull few drones before your lings and not when you lose every ling with a shitty control....
what happened to hydra, it's like after the MSL gold he just steadily declined, coincidentally at the same time that effort came back and became the zerg ace again...

Maybe it's decisions by management to prioritize star players in terms of practice / team dynamic etc, difficult to say, Hydra is pretty underappreciated even when he won his ZvZvZvZvZvZ MSL against the best ZvZers.

Well it's only the 3rd ZvZ so far in Sc2, not that bad.
ZvZ has been pretty damn entertaining in GSL lately, too. Although given how far behind a lot of the PL players tend to be, we likely will not see that level.

I actually find every MU really entertaining in GSL right now.

You mean Freaky going mass infestors?
And Moon's rejuvenated play, plus perhaps the current best ZvZ'er in the world, Symbol.

well the sc2 LR guys always make a thread for the sc2 section, It's up to someone else if they want to make one for the bw section. we have 2 threads most of the time.
Hey does anyone know what Efforts theme song is that they play when he's on? On the intro pop up the have it's in Korean so I can't really search for it.

Give us an ace match CJ! Would be sweet to see Stork v Effort ace or something (granted I'm pretty sure Stork isn't as good as Effort in SC2 lol)
Storks forcefield micro vs Fantasy was pretty high calibre, im sure he would be fine if he doesnt leave the zerg alone for 10 minutes.
Oh really? That's good to hear then~ I have little confidence in my SC2 analysis even though I've watched a ton, so usually I just agglomerate what others say and try to judge a player's abilities, the tide of the game, etc based on a holistic view of others' comments lol. Though sometimes things are just pretty obvious.
I don't understand why Reality was scouting around like that. There's nothing to proxy yet, and he can count probes (I presume). Just being SUPER safe?
random thought but I wonder if the english stream for proleague is ever going to come? or are they just going to let us restream and not care like before?

Shh, don't give them any ideas. Next thing you know we're gonna have Moletrap and Torch instead of Sayle's glorious casting.

OGN doesn't care if you restream as far as I know.

hmm good point, I just thought I heard something about there being an official english stream coming but it wasn't ready for opening day.

They dont care as long as they dont have an official english stream. Pretty sure that if they do they will mind.

The poor attendance at the studio makes me think they should have just completely switched to SC2 instead.
Considering that a lot of the teams have already said in interviews and such that they're focusing 90% SC2 as is, I have a feeling that actually wouldn't have helped much.

can't put training for two different things by percentage like that. it definitely would have helped a ton

The Hybrid league gives them an excuse. If they switched over to SC2 fulltime and played like this, they'd lose all their fans. BW fans would leave, and SC2 fans would only watch the first few weeks for novelty.

Yeah BW people would not want to come out because there's a chance of watching only 2 BW games and SC2 people would be the same (2-3 games).

The obvious solution is simply for them to play BW forever

whats going on with these late baneling nests, if they werent late im sorry, they just seemed late, i guess effort figured out the coin flip pretty well and rorro hasnt raged on ladder enough to just all in every zvz

hope's baneling nest was late (put it down at 150 gas or something), but Roro's was not. He did standard speedling expand with defensive baneling nest (1 drone in gas after speed). It is not a build order loss by any stretch of the imagination, it is just a crazy micro battle.
The best defense is to engage his lings in the middle of the map so he can't morph his banelings, but failing that you can still hold with queens and splitting drones and microing your own lings.
These are the funniest matches ever. There's such a huge skill difference between the players in this league, it reminds me of the early GSL seasons where every other match was just a five minute stomp.
Hm, in a way, SC2 ZvZ is like epic BW ZvZs with queens, what with infestors
And games in SC2 are less likely to end before getting to the really "exciting" stages hehe?
I personally don't like mirrors as much in general (eh I PvP is okay I guess and TvT isn't too bad sometimes either) and do detest ZvZ as well, but there's a silver lining I guess? >.<
incidentally i have to say over the span of the past season of GSL, SC2 is becoming alot better to watch, I just hope HOTS doesn't break the tempo of the game's development.
by the way, about "sz" In SC2 it bothers me that you need to "szzz(...zzzz if you spawned larvae)" because they don't spawn from all larvae automatically.

It's necessary with the increased larva/hatch, wouldn't want to misclick and get 20 lings instead of 10 drones would we?
This season my ability to watch games is going to be nulified once more due to schedules...damn well at least it feels good waking up and looking at the scores.
Effort still trumping people in SC2 it seems and skyhigh learned how to play bw again? AND NOT TvT? o.O nice
On June 05 2012 17:03 IMNasty wrote: effort has so much swag...why isn't this guy coming to anaheim again
Leta is going on behalf of CJ and Bisu / Fantasy not coming is kinda ridiculous, anaheim is more of a PR tournament than anything.
Fantasy is going. I'm not really sure why Leta>Effort, maybe he declined.
Wish more terrans would come out TvZ and TvT is the most fun to watch. Sad thing is none of them can play TvP, but I'm sure that will change with time...
Ok let's be real. Whoever's putting these events up on the calendar needs to stop marking it as an SC2 tourney. Cause let's be real, anyone who cares about PL has SC2 ticked off on the right side cause it just clogs everything up.

I dunno man, let's be real, it's more a SC2 tourney than a BW one at the moment. Is it not possible to put it as both?

i submit them from time to time (e.g. if the day before i don't see them) but i don't see an option to have them as sc2 or bw? is there such a place?
Also, yay Skyhigh! Feels like forever since he won a significant TvP. Was a pleasure to see him win, been waiting a long time to see him take down a top protoss again.
