less than an hour from this post, we'll be hosting a BO21 between up and coming North American players, puCK(P) and Fitzyhere(Z) the winner will get a 200$ prize and will also become ROOT's newest addition to the roster.
We'll be starting at Saturday June 2nd, 1amEST and going until we have a winner, and with that a new member of our team!!

Kind of unfortunate that they can't be both added to the roster. They're both incredible players and it seems kind of silly to base your decision on a bo21 against each other, when they both have their respective strengths and weaknesses against other players.

I have cast both fitzyhere and PucK a lot during playhem dailies and the WCS qualifier. I love them both they have amazing creative styles but...FITZYHERE FIGHTING!!!

Fitzy has the most uncanny ability to not die in a game he's lost. I swear, he can be down to 2base lategame with his main wiped out and somehow camp for the next 20 minutes. And comeback 20% of the time... he goes into heavy creep spread mode then and somehow just covers the map.

Met him a Columbus, super nice guy
He wears an army helmet at events
Plays with a Shethboard
Used a paper bag as a mousepad all weekend

Cvg pretty much dissolved after me and Fitzy decided to leave together, from there everyone else sorta slowly just left. It is sad, just like Think Quick. Very good players, not up to speed on the other side though. ..

If root gets both of these young players and develops them a bit, they could have two of the next wave of NA pros. At the very least, NA is not as saturated with talent as Asia or Europe so it's nice to see new blood.

I think that more teams should do these types of things, i do understand that tournament results are indeed a good showing, but it allows for really good players to make a mark if they are not able to attend tournaments. I hope that other teams in the future implement this more gl to both of them. Fitzyhere is someone i have watched but have not seen much of puCK. Hope the games are a good showing.

Thanks for organising and streaming this catz. It was so sick. That game where Fitzy nydus'd everywhere with his brood/ultra late game usage was one of the sickest games Ive seen. And I think you agreed commenting that it was an awesome game yourself. Glad to hear you recruited both of them, because I agree that both of them showed smart and new ideas that pros haven't incorporated yet but will surely be a part of the future scene.
