Hello everyone! This is the official thread for the third online qualifier for IGN Pro League Team Arena Challenge 3! Here are some relevant links if you don't already know about IPL TAC3:

Only the top 2 teams will qualify for the main tournament!

The Format!
These matches are bo9 Winners Format! Teams will need to be online and ready to play at 10:00 PDT (17:00 GMT (+00:00)) on Saturday, April 28th. Please be aware that these qualifiers can and will take a lot of time. Forfeits and walkovers will be used if needed. If the finals are significantly delayed and both teams agree to play later, scheduling will be done after the semi-finals conclude. Only team managers or tournament admins may spectate matches.
Broadcast Schedule
Our casts of these Qualifiers will begin on Thursday, May 3rd at 5 p.m. PDT (00:00 GMT (+00:00)) each day and will be re-broadcast at 9:30 a.m. PDT (16:30 GMT (+00:00)) the following days.

*All of our maps can be found easily by searching "IPLMap" when creating a game on NA. The first map will be determined by IPL (ro16: Ohana, ro8: Metropolis, ro4: Antiga Shipyard) and the first players for each team must be submitted to an IPL admin before the match begins.

These TAC3 qualifier games will be commentated by our in-house IGN Pro League casting team of CatsPajamas and Doa!

yeah i think so. there is either some serious management problem or their players aren't paid much and this is more of a thing they do on the side for fun.

Hmm, why not? If they played their aces every time, I'm pretty sure they would be able to crush the competition with their three top players in most cases. Even if Harrier loses a game, ZeNEX should still feel pretty comfortable against any opponent.

I guess you and the poster above are right. They don't have much untried talent besides RyoO and he's at Yonsei
My outlook on ZeNEX is that they are a weak team with a few strong players. They can certainly improve if they get new players on the field like Harrier.

It's really frustrating how they seem to keep sending sparta and harrier over the rest, it's not like they're the worst players in the world but if they sent pet/treme/life instead of them they would have probably qualified a long time ago.

They are using some of their A team, TREME played vs us, and I assume some of them don't want to ruin sleep schedule so they can play in Code A and other tournaments, considering it begins 05:00am for them

If the team really, really cared about it they would have used their top players for one match to secure a spot. But maybe some players weren't available and the entire team had other priorities. Nevertheless it's disappointing that ZeNEX may not even qualify while retaining the majority of their A-team.

They don't have a KSL match for at least another week. The only ZeNEX player in Code A is Line and he got a walkover over Boxer: he doesn't even have a series to play. Maybe some of the players are preparing for EWM, but just being in IPL TAC will guarantee more exposure and the possibility of making some money.

I think that Brain is a new player (his id on battle.net is NEXBrain) and XT I think it is TREME or ... it was their coach whose battle.net id is ZeNEXT or just NEXT. I wonder why they did not use Mentalist he is in a great form now and usually plays on american server and wins Playhem and Zotac.
