That 5 rax was probably meant to break an expansion. I don't understand why forgg committed in that situation. If PartinG did a 1 gate nexus or a gate-robo-gate expansion, that could have potentially worked - but it doesn't make sense that he didn't scout or try to adapt to the fact that parting never took an expand.

In that situation, if he sees no nexus, just turn around and get gas and bunker up. You have 5 rax and 2 bases. There is no reason to lose so many units.

Why would he do that build then? It makes no sense to attack with marine/scvs when it is so easy to fend off. Was he expecting parting to just miss FFs and win that way?

Fin was 2 OC's vs 1 Nexus from Parting. Yeah, wierd strat but if made a bit more damage would pay it.

Well.

After recent events, there is not one player I think deserve to go through more than Parting. Was expecting his mindset to not be the best having that much travel and the GSTL loss after regame, but hey, Code S R16 sounds pretty good.

i am pretty sure Fin only saw 4 sentries and 4 FF and that = no more FF. he didn't know parting had 6 sentries.

seriously tasteless, cut it out. this build is used a lot and it can be effective at times. just because you dont follow the sc2 metagame anymore and have no clue what is actually going on doesnt give you the right to put down forgg like that. i know it didnt work but you clearly never saw that build before.
i really wish tasteless would start at least watching some starcraft vods so he would have a clue.
