WarEagle United States130 Posts April 09 2012 16:26 GMT #42 Couple of updates: 1. Registration deadline has been moved up to April 20th to give us more time to setup groups and schedule matches. 2. The Cup League (Bronze-Gold) has been removed due to lack of sign ups. If anyone is still interested in a Bronze-Gold team league we recommend looking into the Chobo Team League, which can be found here in the tournament forums.

This is building up to be an epic season. There will of course likely be 'no-show' teams during the first week, and they will be replaced by teams on the waiting list, so keep the sign ups coming! Only 8 days left to register!

It looks like for the Premiere League we will have 4 groups of 9 teams, with the top 4 of each group advancing to the playoffs. For the Championship league we are looking at 2 groups of either 6, 7, or 8 teams, depending on last minute sign ups. I know a lot you Premiere teams have a B-team you could sign up. This league will likely have an 8 team playoff.

We are very much aware of the demand on the EU server for well organized amateur events. However, our main objectives right now are to establish ourselves in our home country as a successful promoter of independent teams and to provide those teams with events that are both fun to participate in as well as entertaining to watch for the SC2 community. We want to be the stepping stone for teams to move on to the next level. Once we reach a level we are happy with we would love to expand into the EU scene. This will also heavily rely on finding the right people (European obviously) to join our team who could run these events to our expectations.

Tactical Gaming will be there competing. Also i noticed when updating the team roster at SC2Ranks.com that there were only 3 other teams listed there so far.

So many awesome clan wars! Also, SC2Clans is proud to announce another awesome caster to the league, some of you probably know him as the Clan War Expert (OK, yeah, I just made that up), Samsc2! Check out all his info listed in the OP. We are super excited about promoting so many awesome up and coming teams as well as casters. We are going to have a lot of coverage so be sure to tune in!
