I think they are still very strong. It's pretty map-dependant. If you are on a big map eg TDA, a 1-1-1 is pretty bad because the travel distance is so great. If you are on Dual Sight etc, it is still pretty good. However, some Protoss blind-counter it with Phoenix, like Hero vs Puma in NASL. This in turn can lead to metagame shenanigans where you leave out the Banshees and just go pure Marine Tank, like MC vs MVP in MLG Providence. Personally, I think the old Marine/Tank/Banshee is OK, but there are better builds, like Marine/Hellion/Medivac, or MKP's patented Blueflame + Tank + Marine + Medivac, or MVP's pure Marine/Tank, which hits earlier and, arguably, harder. | ||
