I've been an Idra fan since day 1, and I always root for him, but lately he's been failing miserably. I don't remember the last time he won a game in a major tournament. However, sometimes it gets to the point where although you are still a fan...you would rather choose a "back-up" person who's actually good to root for. It doesn't mean your support for IdrA is no longer there, right? You're not saying "since IdrA has been losing a lot, I don't support him anymore. I'm not a fan until he starts winning again." Also, you can be a fan of more than one players.
Yeah, I get what you're saying. I just think that the original person who made that statement regarding Boxer felt the same way I feel about Idra, it's just he didn't really express himself the way he intended. Either that or I am reading waaay too far into peoples posts due to my boredom lol

Yes, I know what you were saying, but this has nothing to do with communism in general. Just with communistic regimes in the past, present and possibly future, who were bad( which includes nearly all). The system itself is not against freedom of speech. Don´t get me wrong, I dislike it as well, but for other reasons and I think it it this case, the critisism is not right.

I don't deny that PuMa is a good player. I don't hate EG. I just don't like PuMa. That's all. I won't insult him like a rapper would, but I will express a certain dislike towards him here (as I have done before on several occasions).

And he always gets leads and then throws aways the game with a stupid move. I was introduced to eSports many years ago with replays of Boxers dropship+tank micro. The emperor will always have a place in my heart <3 Ofc I still love Boxer, will just not blindly root for him in the future.
I have found in eSports I have to evaluate every single match for the people I want to win. I usually try to root for foreigners but sometimes if I really dislike the foreigner (Stephano, Naniwa..to an extent) then I'll root for the other players.
Picking a favorite every match helps you get into it more and keeps you happy when your top favorite players (like Idra) fail miserably and go 0-4
