That's not what this was lol. SaSe just didn't know this was coming, you need a shitton of cannons to hold this and some Sentries ready when it hits. The quick 3 base => Ling / Bling bust doesn't punish Forge FE necessarily. If anything it gives the Protoss a false sense of safety ('oh he's getting 3 base, he won't attack me'), then hits super hard when Protoss doesn't expect it. SaSe was going for the +1 Zealot + Void Rays it seemed, and Voids are quite horrible against mass Speedlings ^_^

Well SaSe didn't do Forge FE. He did Nexus, cut probes, Forge, Gateway, Pylon, resume probe production (maybe before pylon). Pretty greedy :o

Well sure, but he had plenty of time to throw down Cannons, had he somehow known it was coming
Anyway, I hope ToD can go through, EU Protoss fighting ^_^! Though vs Leenock I don't know -___-
Clide seems so off lately. When I see all my favorite players from the first open seasons of GSL disappearing and losing it makes me feel like I'm watching a TV show where all my favorite characters are one by one being killed off.
I liked the banes for Leenock. He used them to roll into ToDs army, but I guess he originally made them to protect his broodlords. So if the stalkers blink under the broods the banes just kill them.
Any chance of a bracket being posted somewhere? I'd like to see where people are headed in the future, or is it just put together at the organizer's choice who plays whom?

What happened? If you write something like this you really should give your reason for it.

Pray tell, what happened that wasn't to your liking?
Didn't get why XiGua felt he had to try some Baneling bust after he had taken his third. MarineKing had no more map control, so he could freely drone... Besides, fast thirds are usually played with Siege Tanks anyway for defence.

This has to be a troll.
I thought it was a great day of broadcasting. Thanks FXOpen for continuing with great production

If the pull a few Probes, they can kill the Hatchery before the Queen spawns.
Yes, but is it even needed? I mean, for the Zerg, the point is only to delay the Nexus with Tumors; he won't do much else with his Hatchery anyway, so maybe only using Probes to block the Queen (since it always spawns at the same location) is enough. I think I had seen MC doing this on Cloud Kingdom (?), don't remember his opponent though.

That was MC against Leenock in Code S a few weeks ago, but it was partly due to the map and how everything was positioned. MC had pulled Probes to block the ramp, and had just brought them down to start attacking the Hatchery, and the Queen spawned right on top of them, so he surrounded it easily.
