lol, MMA outclassing DRG.
However that tank drop did nothing. Drg was just surprised and mismicroed. Had he been paying attention, (not sure why he wasn't that was an allin, as he wasn't taking another base) Mutalisks could have easily sniped those medivacs.
Edit: I wish my Terran opponents were so nice as to fly medivacs full of tanks by my mutalisks and over a pit of lings.

at first i thought he was trying to fly the tanks out of there with medivacs and misclicked where to send them...

Picking up your tanks in medivacs and flying them through muta's is not a very smart move. Unless MMA knew DRG would have the brain explosion of letting them go by untouched
|
Really good decision making by MMA: it was a gamble, either that worked or he was going to lose a lot to infestor/brood before reinforcing; DRG didn't react properly for some reason, I suppose nerves are getting the best of him. Now, hopes up for a comeback and more matches.

Can someone fully explain that to me? At first I thought MMA was accidently picking up two tanks and sending them to their death(by mutas.) How did he know the mutas wouldn't kill them? How exactly was DRG out of position to deal with the tanks anyway?
|
I wonder if DRG missed the tank pickup and thought the medivacs were empty.

Well to be fair he went from being ahead most the game, then in 10 second tech switch by DRG, MMA almost lost and with amazing decisions making instantly won.

what? the tank drop medivacs weren't anywhere near thors. they were effectively 4 free tanks and 2 free meds if drg kills it

He filled 2 medivacs, flew them basically through a muta clump, and DRG didn't do anything lol
I tried to look for the mutas but IMO that clump was all broodies.

Thors were too far away / dead i think. Could be wrong though, need to see that replay

MMA's micro and decision making was simply amazing!

MMA now takes the lead in overall games played (5-4, I believe.)
|
Wow DRG needs to get his act together. He seems to be falling apart under this pressure.
|
Everyone saying that DRG could've easily sniped the medivacs, he could've also received a lot of shots from the thors because of the clumped up mutas.
Also I think the moment was perfect, mutas were just moving to the left side.
|
Yes, it was a risky move but otherwise he was just getting cornered and would eventually lose the battle. The move was brilliant because it won him the game in that tough situation

WHAT THE FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
MMAAAAAAAAAA so good holy crap, i can't breathe, that was amazing, wut? i was like Oh crap, he's screwed, no vikings yet, he's getting pushed back, he's getting pushed back, NUUU WUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUTTTTTTT. gg O_O

why act like that was a decision? Obviously a micro mistake.... what dissapoints me is peoples observation skills..

Good move or not, it is this risky ballsy plays that wins fans and hearts!

Jjakji/Leenock was better.
DRG's decision making/nerves are subpar this series.

The tanks were so vulnerable in the medivac, the only reason this worked was because DRG failed his control. Yep they flew right past the Mutas, was a terrible move actually. But Artosis said it's a good move so everyone thinks so now
Tanks would've died to Broods/Mutas anyways. So he took a risk and it paid off, it was a damn good move. Deal with it.
