I think the current TvZ trend is so much in the long, macro game stuff, that every player today, zerg or terran, decided that it would be smart to play a very aggressive style to punish that. which makes for funny games at least.

Haha.

Hopefully this turns out to be true. King of ZvT when it comes to hype meets a legitimate TvZ monster in terms of stats.

No, he's not. Bronze league means you can barely move your workers onto your mineral line. Don't degrade GanZi by saying stuff like that. He's playing badly, but by no means is he playing bronze level.

2 base baneling is turning out good results.

umm that only worked cause Ganzi moved out at a terrible time. He easily would have held that if he stayed in his base

If he stays home, the zerg does the bust anyways and takes his third behind it. It wasn't baneling all-in, it was just kyrix aggro style.

Its going to be the meta on this map against any Terran who fast expands.

Probably not, its just a trend to keep terran players honest. Most Terrans expect zergs to take a third around the time Ganzi moved out and he may have felt that he was getting metaed. Since he actually didnt see the exact number of banelings lucky he had, he only saw the first round. He didnt feel comfortable playing turtly so he moved out.

I dont see why its such a big deal, it doesnt make for long interesting games but they kinda want to win so.

It's amazing.

Players like Ganzi, Alicia, Ryoung, were all Code S class players months ago, but now...just watching how they play compared to someone like Hero, Jjakji, Leenock, etc they don't even seem to be close ;o

Let's try to extend our memories beyond the most recent BoX shall we? Ganzi is not that far removed from winning code A, making the Ro4 of code S and being 1 game away from beating MVP in the finals of AoL. Ryung and Alicia are still bad though :D

I have, but a line needs to be drawn somewhere. Why not just say "GanZi playing like total fucking garbage trash shit holy fuck so horrible."?

He waited until he moved out. He wasn't going to attack unless he moved out. So things would have been completely different.
Moving out at all was the bad decision, while he was still on just bio.

hyperbole, bro

but you can't deny that these are literally some of the worst games anyone has seen from any pro in a looooong time. Seriously, making micro or macro mistakes can at least be attributed to nervousness. Ganzi SEES the baneling nest and proceeds to move out with unstimmed marines. That is just plain stupid.

I like the idea of a blue flame opening, I really feel like even post nerf blue flame hellions are so insanely good at denying things like baneling busts (wonder if that's why he's doing this build) or he could just be going mech.
