MLG Providence Day 3 Live Report Thread - Page 438
Forum Index > StarCraft 2 Tournaments |
Here we go again. This weekend is about good games and good fun. Don't rain on that parade. Play nice guys. Here's the very standard and friendly: - NO Balance Whine. - NO Player Bashing. - NO Caster Bashing. - NO BM whatsoever. Breaking these rules (from pg 166 forward) will be met with severe punishment.

He needs to learn that winning one tournament does not make one the best player, it's the consistency. so regardless of the outcome, MVP will still be the best players in the world after Providence. He's a caster, it's part of his job to sell the tournament. He can't be like, well this isn't the GSL so it doesn't really matter. Or he needs to win other high level tournaments that are competing with MLG for viewers like blah, blah blah. See. Artosis even said this is the best tournament in the world.

and also, what constitutes an 'all in' these days? the way the term gets thrown around, in a lot of the cases I could easily see the game pan out even if it just did a decent amount of damage, so that ain't all in. It's virtually the exact same thing as a timing push, only whereas a supposed "all in" focuses less on followup and more on dealing damage in order to gain an edge, the timing attack would invest less in army and have a better followup but less potential for destroying shit. Where do you people even draw the line? Why is one worse than the other? And why in the name of god do people insist on calling things cheese that are clearly a reactionary response based on scouting intel?

Actually Leenock dropped to the lower bracket 1 round earlier than MVP, and MVP got a BYE in the first round of the open bracket.
