money in LoL are anything but free. They don't have open brackets, you pretty much requires to be a well known team that needs to be invited to have a chance.
Then you have to split prize money 5 ways, not including the traveling fees for 5 players. Its an incredibly unfriendly environment for new players

There is the number 2 Viper player in the US. Wolfkrone. He was a poor kid from Detroit so he learned to play the game on a PS3 controller. Now he travels around the country kicking ass with it. He also made top 8 of this tournament.

The LoL is not only causing emotional problems for the viewers,
It's affecting the players as well, Steph was on a winning streak and he was ready, but instead he was forced to wait for hours for his next match... and the waiting game can get very tiresome
