How can we get a ticket? Is it the same ticket for Paris Games Week?

I'll be there. To see MKP in action.

I totally agree with ur list out of the groups. Idra is going to have a lot of ZvZ. He can easily make a mistake and loose one of those series.

His ZvZ is fairly good. I think (and this is speculative) that lately he has realized that he can play slightly safer in the early game against most opponents (read: not Koreans) and even if he is behind as a result, make up for it with mechanics. This should allow him to beat most of the Zs in his group. I don't know about Nerchio, haven't really seen him play so I just went with a bit of fanboyism there. I do remember that Idra lost to him in IPL2 (iirc) so we'll see.

I can't disagree more, Nerchio has a beasty ZvZ (just behind Stephano in eu), he can roflstomp idra who isn't as strong in ZvZ as his other MU.

And you have a really good way to know the "strongness" of a top Zerg in ZvZ : look the ratio : )

-cause you must know why Terran have in general a better ratio than the other races, the TvT isn't a "coin flip", the best player wins most of the time. As a result, win can see the strongest Terrans near 80% most of the time

- on the other hand zergs and protossi got a coin-flip mirror MU, so even if a player is far better than his opponent he may loose (fe vs 7pool = loose), this results as a ratio slighty better than 70% for the best.

-you can find a good toss or zerg in mirror when he has a really good ratio, this means he doesn't loose that much in mirro MU. For exemple ToD has a good PvP and one of the best P ratio in europe. Lalush and Nerchio are known for there ZvZ so they are over 75%. But Darkforce who is as good as Lalush in ZvT (if not better) is not that concistent in ZvZ.

All this shit to say that Nerchio got a reall strong ZvZ and can beat Idra (i didn't find idra's ratio but i think it's behind the Nerchio's 79 :S). Moreover i think he alredy 3-0 him in IPL2... so let's see. I'd give 60-40 in Nerchio's favor.

I even said that I was fanboying by predicting Idra>Nerchio. Nerchio's ZvZ is ~70%, Idra's is ~71%.

I personally don't think Stephano's ZvZ was that impressive (only games I saw were those vs. Lucky) so if Nerchio's is close to that I think it should be fairly even (if not slight edge to Idra).

That 3-0 series was interesting, do you remember how the games went?

Meh, it's hard to make predictions before brackets come out. It really really depends on how the brackets are laid out.

IMO the clear favourite is MKP. The only people in this tournament that have a chance to beat him are: MC, IdrA, Stephano. And even than, IdrA/Stephano are a small chance.

IdrA has a good chance to win if he can avoid Nerchio/Stephano. His ZvZ can be spotty sometimes (even though I think he has improved lately). He's shown he is capable of beating anyone ZvT (including MKP). And his ZvP looked strong enough to beat MC at MLG (even though he inevitably lost that series).

Nerchio has a decent chance if he can get over LAN nerves and perform like he does online. Also, I think he'd need to avoid MKP and to a lesser extent MC.

Stephano needs to avoid MKP and he has a solid chance too.

Hell, basically any of the 3 zergs (stephano, idra, nerchio) has a strong chance if someone else knocks out MKP lol

He lost to MKP in pretty convincing fashion. The game he won was MKP making laugh of him going mech lol. No, he is not capable of beating anyone ZvT. Stop trolling fanboys.

His ZvP is going to be his downfall but in G3 vs MKP if he hadn't gotten overeager running headlong into the remnants of MKPs army with tiny groups of units and had instead pulled back regrouped and attacked he likely would have won.

I think MC is the favorite after his MLG run, he has positive records vs Idra, Stephano, and MKP, both of whom he just beat at MLG. Yeah Idra took a game off MC...but that's Dual Sight man that's a free win :D. Also I think Nerchio has no chance against MKP and MC...he's fallen to much weaker Protoss and the only good korean Terran he faced he got 3-0ed.

The brand ESWC was previously owned by another company that went bankrupt. The new company that owns the ESWC brand are not obliged by law to pay debts made by the previous owners.

The new company organised last years ESWC and paid out just a few weeks after the event.

Did you not watch his games against Bomber? Those were some of the baddest ass ZvT I have seen in a long time. In an interview with MKP/Puma/Rain, two of them said that among the most feared ZvT are IdrA/Nestea/DRG + Show Spoiler +
