He held it by sacrificing SCVs. After the first 2 flanks, he didn't stand a chance of winning anymore, unless TOP made a massive choke and fed armies without killing anything.
You can't attribute that to a "skill" differential. Arguably games 1-3 were better demonstrations of MVP outclassing TOP, but not game 4.

He also had better upgrades.
It's easy to break siege lines not spread with some flank + better upgrade, thors tanks so well and do good dmg when they are in range. TOP's only mistake was his late upgrades (didn't see the beginning/mid game so dunno why he was late on this) after that trading army after army with better eco + dealing some eco dmg is very good

If TOP goes mech again he has to remember, don't get sandwiched or flanked in the middle of the map. If he can control the middle properly, he can win this.
