The following is a list of behaviors that will get immediate bans:

1. Whining about stream
2. Bashing other games
3. Flaming other users
4. Bashing players
5. Complaining about imbalance

Basically just be respectful. Aside from that, enjoy the games, make sure you bring an umbrella and have some delicious waffles! (#)

quoted for truth

protoss diamond players in the thread needs to stop crying because it's getting really old. it is not unbalanced one bit. Kiwi did not counter that build and he wasnt even expecting it since he put up a nexus that he later cancelled.

nice joke

nah he's right
i held it off on the korean ladder against a diamond opponent

LoL....why are people surprised that 1/1/1 won the Terran another game. Puma probably realized that Kiwikaki was actually good, stopped screwing around with his food and didn't want to risk anything. since 1/1/1 is a guaranteed win.

The only reason why he didn't want to 1/1/1 in the first place is because he's gonna get a lot of hate for it because at least the Korean fans know it is imbalance. Only the foreign fans are clueless and think the fault always lies with Protoss even though there is a mountain of evidence proving otherwise.

lol@all these comments bitching about balance. sickening.

that result was due to Kiwi getting impatient and just a-moving into the siege group. Go figure. He had the middle of the map in stand-off mode, had better economy, etc...

Kiwi won't blame that loss on a build order or TERRAN IMBA!! QQ!! - He'll blame it on a poor engagement.

edit:

Especially lol'ing at all these "I no longer respect Puma as a human being" comments...rofl

Ye Kiwi should defenitly have waited for more tanks and marines so he would get stomped even harder...

Your a moron..... half of pumas scvs were with the army so for every one tank and 2 marines kiwi would of gotten more immortals more phoenix and zelots or stalkers...... because of his eco

At that moment it was pumas job to kill kiwi not the other way around kiwi would of gotten an advantage the longer puma took.

serious question: with the expo having so much surface area, why wouldn't kiwi keep delaying until puma has to push through the cavern? why engage earlier if your advantage increases over time?

im so tired of seeing this shit.
tell me, HOW does his advantage increase over time?
bottom line:
1) mass marines only dealt with aoe
2) marine ball constantly growing
3) kiwi had no chance of getting aoe since both templar and colossus require time and resources he didnt have

would you rather he waited until puma slow pushed to the chokes of his natural?

Let me lay it out for you since you clearly dont know how the game works. The longer he stalls the bigger the economic advantage he has because puma pulled half his scvs. Hopefully you can understand the math behind it now or you have no hope.

at that point the problem was going to be mass marines since kiwi had no chance of getting any AOE and he had enough scvs to constantly build marines, PLUS MULES.

IMMVP doesn't condone the usage of 1-1-1 all-in because he sees it as OP too. Is he an idiot?

he did it against MC in Code S.

That was bomber. MVP had an expansion

NO, people need to stop thinking that any terran build with TANKS is 1-1-1........................

I won't cry about 2 rax, it is a great build, you never get into a bad position when using it. You just have to deal with it, its part of the life of playing a RTS game. Grow up tosses.

You can, MVP has self respect so he refuses to use 1-1-1, there's a real player

self respect refusing to use a specific build? that's just retarded, thats like saying its self respect to not 6pool someone

dont think MVP can pull off 1-1-1 builds as perfectly as puma does.

MVP would more than likely pull it off better than Puma.

I dislike the 1/1/1. It's broken. I don't abuse it when I play. I play straight up. I could use it and do extremely well but what's the point? It's like cheating to get infinite items in a game. It's boring. It's stupid. And it's broken.

Lol you complain too much, Kiwi needed to stall for time and he didnt do that.

Stalling is not the answer, because as you stall, terran gains an eco lead and makes more marines, which makes immortals and phoenixes ineffective

Lol, PuMa was Flash's practice partner and some other pros as well in BW.

It's not because he uses 1-1-1 that he's suddenly a piece of crap. PuMa is much more skilled RTS-wise than everybody else in this tournament.

Because when a Code S spot is on the line, he should do anything to get it.

I hate the TvP 1-1-1 right now but you can't fault pros for using it until a counter gets found/a patch is done.

cept MVP, who said anyone who uses 1-1-1 is disgraceful and that he wont use that op build anymore .... what a baller

Yeah I'm pretty sure he never said those exact words. Were you complaining when MC was winning GSLs with 6gates almost every game PvZ?

if you scout 6 gate you can defend... kiwi knew everything and was not able to counter, like MC knew and was not able too

Why is it so clear?

Because XNC is the best map for the 1-1-1, and the map was picked by Kiwi. Of course he saw it coming.

I don't think he would have expanded then... He was obviously thrown off a bit.

Honestly, Puma has done well enough not to use bullshit strats. I know, he is a pro, he can choose whatever tactics and strategy he desires. But he can hardly complain if fans choose not to support him or think he is cheap.

I wanted to see real games Puma-MC. It never happened. And I was hoping he'd consider foreign protosses not as dangerous as MC and would play a different game, yet he sticks to what most likely will end up patching. Cannot support him.

I don't see a protoss winning this tourney. So I hope a zerg, Donraego wins.

because after the 20 second warpgate nerf 2 rax is guarunteed to force a cancel on the nexus or kill it and then its basically free win for terran, search for why Koreans think the 1/1/1 is imbalanced thread.

I'm pretty sure 1 gate FE into 3 gates can hold any 2 rax.

Do you even play Protoss? If 1gate FE could hold off a 2rax then I would do it every game

How are the ties in pools A and C gonna work? Pool C has HerO, Slush, and Trickster with 2-3, and HerO has the least amount of wins but has beaten Slush and lost to Trickster.
